@@user-wx2ek3uv1i Yeah, but he never matured. With immense power from Giygas, he could just command people to do his bidding on a whim, so he never had to "grow up". Also, his physical body, while withered, still shows child-like proportions.
Right before you fight the final boss in World of Light, it made me so happy to see that the spirits you face off against are The Masked Man and Hinawa. Localization or not, Nintendo knows that this game is something special. EDIT: as a reply points out, you fight Claus not the Masked Man my b
Sure, it wasn't released in the U.S. But thanks to the fan translation many of us still got o play it, I started playing this game when I was 9 (I'm 18 now) so this game sure as HELL is nostalgic to me
ATTENTION SMASH/MOTHER FANS Stage concept: "Giygas' Lair". It would be a long, autoscrolling stage, where the stage moves you over to Giygas. Here's how Giygas could attack (hear me out): We see that Giygas uses moves that "you can't grasp the true form of". However, with his moves, they sometimes get reflected by the Franklin Badge. Also, some of these moves have different effects on the player. This means that Giygas uses different PSI moves. So, Giygas, as a stage hazard, would shoot different PSI moves. Porky could also come in, and attack you, and also... fart on you... And, also, the same thing could work as a boss against Giygas, but it has 2 phases. The second phase will have Pokey also attacking. You have to beat the everliving sh*t out of Pokey, until he runs away, accidentally turning off the Devil's Machine, winning you the fight. And yes, if Porky were to be in Smash, it means you could beat the everliving sh*t out of him.
I know it's not right video, but Giygas's "dimension" (phase when you fight Giygas itself) should be a map. There would be flying rocks as platforms and Giygas would sometimes use his ability like "hidden" PK Fire setting everyone in fire.
The Big Meme around 1:04. This was at the end of the EB N64 trailer (shown by IGN) where it shows what I would presume to be a Drago running in the distance
Actually that song *did* make it into the final version of Mother 3, Nintendo doesn't usually like to reference cancelled projects I don't think... The song is called Big Shot's Theme.
Wonder if the reason they didnt include the snare lane part in the beginning in the smash remake is because they didnt want to make it close to the 20th century fox intro
Not gonna lie, when I first found out that this song had two titles depending on the game (back when I didn't know much about Mother 3 except the basic stuff), the first thing that came to my mind was this scene of Porky trying to brainwash Tazmily into transferring to New Pork City by showing them all the luxuries that come with living in it. His final line would be "Tall buildings, neon lights, happy boxes, comfortable machinery... Living in my city would be such a dream. Isn't this such a utopia?". Then out of nowhere, Flint, Duster, Kumatora, Salsa, Lucas, and Boney would come up to the stage. Duster would then use his hand to brutally slap Porky's face and then shout "YOU CALL THIS A UTOPIA?!" 🤣
Lucas probably thinking this in his mind after seeing the original GBA title of this song.(it is called isn't this such a utopia?) You're calling this a utopia, Right!? My mom is dead, my bro is gone. I lost my home, because of you! I am sick of your nonsense since the beginning! Now I will personally destroy you! (BTW you can try to sing along.)
Me in brawl (a person who pkayed m3.) (Lucas finds the statue. Doesn't carry the new years eve bomb.) me: b r u h . (Lucas doesn't use PK flash) Me: B R U H.
It's such a shame. So many great battle themes that could have been included, like Fight With Mecha-Drago, Natural Killer Cyborg, Master Porky's Theme...
We need more Mother rep. in smash, especially more songs from Mother 3, because that game has so many good tracks; it should be a crime that it has this few songs in smash
Me, when I first heard this remix: Oh, this remix is pretty cool. I like how it goes all over the place. But I don't know, I think I might like Unfounded Revenge just a little bit m- 1:04 Me: IS THAT A JAZZ GUITAR PLAYING THE MELODY!? 1:10 Me: That's it! This is my favorite remix ever made!
It does make sense considering that a huge part of being in New Pork City is, Boney chasing after a stink bug in the theatre which gets him lost in the sewer and you of course have to rescue him.
I don't know if it's an inside joke or something, but i love how both "Isn't this such a utopia" and "you call this a utopia" are typed with a and not an
