Those car dealers that have been effected are just going back to "Old School" and are writing up paper BUYERS ORDERS to secure the numbers that the customer and Desk Manager agreed upon, which will secure the "DEAL "and the vehicle until they get through this situation and get back online. The dealers are still selling vehicles. But, you are right brother these are all TEST RUNS for the Deep State economic implosion that is assuredly coming as the noon day sun..

Middle TN here! Right before covid hit in 2020, my son took his high school senior class trip to San Fransisco. He got to tour Alcatraz. Well, while the class was touring Alcatraz, thugs broke into the rental vans and looted EVERYTHING. Police shrugged it off. Told them all, well these gangs target the out of state cars and rental cars. Next time, be more careful. Luckily my son has traveled enough with us to know that you never, never, NEVER leave your valueables in a car or hotel room. NEVER. Ironically my son wanted to move to California until he took that trip. He came home, and said, NOPE...I will NEVER move there. Too much crime. And that was 4 years ago.

Someone took me to dinner in downtown Hayward about 1& 1/2 yrs ago and I was surprised to see all the new apartment buildings they built. In the 1980's all through high school I really wanted to go see California being born and raised in rural Upstate New York. When I joined the Navy I happened to get orders to San Francisco, CA and spent some years out there. That was enough for me and I came back home and that 35 years ago as I couldn't even imagine living out there now as I haven't been back there since the day I left.

I own two used, one-owner, low mileage sports cars. Both are paid off and are covered by reasonable auto insurance due to their ages- a 2013 Chevy Camaro and a 2004 Honda S-2000. Have NEVER owned a new car. Just not worth it. Think SMART, Everybody!!

The color is silver, has 98,000 miles on it, and here’s the BEST part- It came with the original, factory-optioned removable hardtop!!! Yep, this girl is definitely a looker AND a keeper!! : )

My wife works for Honda. She manages two huge parts warehouses. Some of this also involves parts and repairs. She just called me this morning is about to start sending people home. I remember "house poor" in 2009 and 2010 and 2011. All these houses we were called out to design for. Parents have expensive cars galore, giant house and no furniture. They eat at the sink. Mattress on the floor. Same routine with various additions. Folding chairs and card table for dinner. Just wild to see in these expensive neighborhoods.

Why are there the "stale real estate listings" in Seattle? Perhaps it is because Boeing is in trouble, the liberal Seattle City council drove Amazon out of town, Microsoft is laying off and Seattle is trying hard to become another Los Angeles! I grew up in Orange county, graduating from Junior high, High school, and College there. I have been in the greater Seattle area for 50 years. I wanted to return to SoCal and retire in Huntington beach, where I can still drag a surfboard across PCH. It breaks my heart every time I see you go out on the HB pier. Listening to you tell me how Southern California has turned into a toilet, breaks my heart and also the idiots who run the state have gotten the taxes so high I can't return there to retire!

I work for a powersports dealership in So Cal that uses the CDK Light Speed system. The system does more than purchase contracts. It calculates the salespeople and finance managers back end for their payroll. Guess they'll need to calculate by hand now. It has customers info and warranty info on units. Parts and service orders. Customer purchases such as helmets etc. When we first got the updated version years ago I discovered a glitch that wasn't calculating the sales percentages correctly. We had to use the good ole calculator to process their commissions for payroll. We can't always rely on technology. Heck the fast food workers can't even give me back the correct change without looking at the screen!

Lol bought a 2024 mustang gt yesterday. 3.9% via Ford. We visited about 10 different dealerships in the Chicagoland area and each one of them was down. They had to complete the paperwork using manual methods that they haven't used in 15 years.

At the last company I worked at the I.T. guys mentioned that 90% of the e-mail traffic coming in got isolated as spam. When it came to clicking on links in emails that were malware the worst offenders were management, not the front-line troops. The new homeless building in Los Angeles - That's a rehab'd office building, its in the 'skid row' area of downtown Los Angeles, and there are no grocery stores, drug stores, clothing stores within a mile of the building. That does not sound promising.

MEDICAL CARE cost is frightening ,Over and above the exorbitant fees charged for Vehicle tags/ registration, not to mention the overtaxed gasoline, we are forced to buy , sky high food cost, Sky high housing, Exorbitant insurance fees ++ + of course we also pay for the illegals who receive everything free .+++ …… I treated my granddaughter to a chicken sandwich small fries and small lemonade drink and I had the same and it was 28 dollars and change for the order in a paper bag 😳

Actually the entire nyc subway system is electrified. However the la to lv train will be cost prohibitive to electrify. Diesel trains are the only thing that makes sense over a long distance.

Dan, I live in near you. Are we really to believe that there are this many Chinese citizens with millions of dollars to buy Orange County real estate? They buy over 90% of new homes. Any chance the Chinese government filters money to its citizens? I’m going to Oakland later this year to watch an A’s game. I’ve been about a dozen times (including Raiders games). Just leave immediately after the game and don’t stop until out of the city.

Just to let you know that house is not worth $22 million. It’s not even worth 12 million let alone 10 million it’s worth about 3 1/2 million the reason they’re asking 22 million or higher is because it’s right near the ocean the POS wouldn’t even even fit in my neighborhood here in the ridges in Las Vegas.

Why?When I stayed in Newark in 1999,I took the Nimitz right to the lot.The A's have the best setup for getting people in and out of the lot in all of MLB.
