Me too! I found this video while looking for cutting fabric. There may be times I will stabilize, but there will be times with no stabilization. I have the rotary blade and extra sticky mat in my cart, but was checking on if there was anything else I needed. Fascinated by that iron!! (Or maybe it is called a press). Off to the check that baby out!

You have opened up a whole new process for me! I would love videos and info specific to the Curio 2. I also would like to see the Rotary Blade in action (again, Curio2 if possible). Specifically, do I use a sticky mat when cutting fabric on Curio2, or just the electrostatic mat? Curio2 is a very steep learning curve. Thank you!!!
I need to work more with the Curio 2! I always fall back to the Cameo because it's so familiar. I will definitely work on that. I'm not sure if the ES mat will hold material. It seems to be a lot of trial and error with that still, but if you place it on there and it seems to stay well, then you can always try a test cut to see how it does without wasting a lot of material.
