im 17 and been doing pull ups everyday since age 13, the most i ever did in one set was 29, i think i could get to 30 with less strict form and kipping

Weighted pull ups will get u there fast. I used to do 30 easily once I took my 45lb vest off. You’ll feel like a feather without the vest.

Yes. I can do 30 straight pullups with 25lbs. Weighted calisthenics (with good form) is key...

Add weight in small increments once you can do 10 pull ups. Start with just 5 pounds in a backpack or use a weighted vest, then go up in 5 pound increments. Keep working hard!@@user-dw9ci3di3r

​@@user-dw9ci3di3rjust start doing actual pull ups. Do one set every day and then for back day just keep going til you get to 50 then let yourself recover. This will boost your pull ups number alone in two weeks. After that for a few more weeks you should be able to do some pull ups

@@user-dw9ci3di3rGet to 12 body weight pull ups first. Then, add a few kilos that will keep you on the 6 to 10 reps range. Once you reach 10 with said weight, you add more and start again Good luck

That's great money. I'm not a troll and Duke is my man but hands down this is the one of the best if not the best form next to powerful I have seen on here. I never hear critic on the little squatty bodies doing rowing motions. Hands down it's no one on your channel as well rounded with the form like Duke . That ain't a fact thats truth

This and the last 30 pull ups clip shows the 2 different styles. The last one was chin up and arch in the back while this is chin down and arch in the front (hollow body position).

i can only do about 8-10 but i am getting there! love this channel. I have been doing hard calisthenics twice a week and HIT in the gym 3 times a week. good shit

Y'all have low standards of this is clean. He's cutting like 10-20% short from full ROM at the bottom. Clearly no dead hang. Go to a gymnastics or climbing gym and you'll see real "clean".

Perfect form and cadence, no “kipping” bs like I used to do in CrossFit. I can only do 12 with this form so long way to go, but 12 good pull-ups beats 25 trash kipping pull-ups every day of the week.

He was definitely swinging towards the end and he never quite went back to a neutral hanging position with the arms fully extended, but when it comes to range of motion there is a reasonable argument to be made that, so long as you're doing more than one type of exercise for each body part and make sure to cover the full range of motion across several exercises, lifting more weight cumulatively and allowing for some weaker form whilst squeezing out the last few reps could be better for progress than having really strict form and doing less work. When it comes to bodyweight exercises, the problem with poor form is that you can get into the habit of doing everything with partial reps because it's far easier than doing it correctly. If you can execute the exercise perfectly up until you get fatigued, then do some partial reps, you may be able to get more perfect reps in next time. If you never do the exercise correctly you'll think you're making progress but instead you're just getting better at cheat reps, which don't translate into nearly as much benefit if your goal is to get stronger. On the other hand, if you aren't doing full range of motion but you do another exercise that peaks in effort at the point you didn't hit you will be able to compensate for that a bit and it may be a valid strategy for dealing with a plateau if the issue is purely down to you not having enough strength to initiate the movement from a fully neutral position. So long as it's an intentional decision to do that in order to achieve a goal more quickly by removing the part of the movement where you're too weak and training that in isolation during a different exercise you can get really good results.

This is the most pull-ups I’ve seen in a row. A lot of videos say “unbroken” pull ups but including the shaking arm thing and rest pausing. Is there someone that did more than 30 like this out there?

Noa man workout did 105 paused dead hang without resting. Hung off the bar for 8 minutes straight while he did it. Craziest shit ever.

I’m on the road to 20 pull-ups I’m probably at around 13 at present Grease the groove system. I may incorporate weighted pull-ups into the mix 1 day per week

Damm those are clean. I once did 26 chin ups in 30 seconds for a chance to participate on American Gladiators. Sad to say u had to do 27 in 30 seconds to get past the 1st event.

We used to do all around the world upstate! 80 pull-ups ,dips and push ups! Never made to 100 but could do 100 straight money💪🏿 Only 5 sets of around the worlds though! Didn’t get a chance to get to 10!!!

Everybody always got something to say about somebody pull up the last pull up was a chin up all the last pull up didn't have good form that man did 30 pools regardless of how high he came or if it's top of his head just came to the bar he still did 30 Pull-Ups stop complaining you probably can't even do 10 pull ups
