Been casually flipping clothing for a while now, booter & chazzy pickups. Few decent U.K based pickup channels on YT but usually tend to cater for all kinds of stuff. Not only is this specialising in clobber, it's slick and very educational for the likes of me. You're killing it on both fronts mate...thanks for sharing!
Only came across your channel a couple of days ago and I’ve binged most of your videos already! Quality content, great knowledge about what you do, and best of all it’s entertaining!! Definitely got a new fan here 👍🏻
I have just started my reselling journey, I can't thank you enough for the clear and perfect advice ! When I go in a charity shop now , I feel like I have a information suit of armor on . I know what to look for , thanks mate 👍
You are my favorite RU-vidr now, I've watched all your vids in 2 weeks and started reselling myself. But, as much as you are my favorite RU-vidr the best part of the videos are you & your other half together. So funny and I love it when you shop together too!
@@Chaddypete it looks so much fun, my other half came shopping willingly for a while day last week. In 8 years this has never happened, but he loves your videos too! I picked up a 90s single stitch t shirt by nutmeg athletic made in the USA for a pound and I shouted banger! Ha ha our code is "Pete would like this" it "that would fit Pete" if one of needs to search something or if something's obviously not for us as was we are still a bit shy about being obvious resellers 😂
Pete your vids are like an education I've been reselling for 7 years and your tips have really helped me on pick ups for men's . Thanks so much Amy 👍👍💪
That feeling when Chaddypete visits your local chazza!! I got done on those double yellows a couple of months ago, I don't go in that Mind as prices are stupidly high :)
Pete. The fact you found a pair of undercover converse in a CHARITY SHOP is mad. I’ve been looking for a good pair in my size for a decent price for AGES and all of a sudden I see you find them in the trenches… can’t believe it 😤😤😂😂
Have been watching hairy tornado for ages but think your just as helpful in your tips on what to buy and your in the U.K. , let’s hope your heading towards his subscriptions you deserve it
You’re literally the voice in my head when I’m browsing through these charity shops. Unfortunately I only come across blue harbour, next, primark, F&F and the like with the occasional dodgy labels & over priced Clark’s shoes lol
Any chance u could do an updated what sells/ what brands you would really avoid please just to give us noobs a better insight, great video again tho please keep them coming
Your videos are so well produced and educational, you are inspiring! I picked up a Gitman Bros shirt today from your tips! Thank you for the videos Pete 🙏🏼
I've done, flea markets, car boots and only occasionally a charity pick up over the years. I moved onto (very easy) retail arbitrage but missed the hunt. Found your channel a week ago, you filled my noggin with info and I've already done two decent charity trips. Thanks for the info and giving me back the love of the hunt!
@@kayamac3 so what you’ve described is dropshipping, retail arbitrage is buying items stocked at supermarkets, toy stores etc for cheaper than it would be online and making the profit that way
Great video, loved the fashion show 😂😂😂 Your subscribers are rising so quickly not long to 20,000, well done you deserve it your videos are so entertaining and informative and your wife is so funny, great couple.
Mate, I discovered your channel late last night and have watched all your videos in 1 day!! Love the videos man, keep it up and look forward to the next one! :)
nice you see you in my area, that last shop on wickersley tanyard you went to is always high priced we never really do well there, cracking video mate!
HIYA MATE RECENT SUBSCRIBER AND LOVIN THE UPLOADS. YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE A KEEN EYE FOR A BARGAIN AND HAVE A VAST KNOWLEDGE OF THE CLOTHING MARKET. RECENTLY BOUGHT SOME HUGO BOSS TOPS FROM USC AND JD BUT QUALITY JUST DOESN’T SEEM WORTHY. HOW DO YOU KNOW STUFF IS FAKE AND WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER THE BEST QUALITY DESIGNER GEAR? CHEERS JAMIE.
The best way to tell if it’s fake is just looking at the quality, loose, uneven stitching with a flimsy fabric gives it away all the time! The obvious quality gear is Stone Island, that stuff is made to an extremely high quality
Hi Chaddy - Big fan of yours. Have you thought about doing a webinar / online seminar to impart your expertise - it wouldn’t be great to interact and pose questions
Found this channel last week and it’s got me thinking…. I live in Bristol and not far from bath, there gotta be some high end garments in charity shops in bath and Clifton surely!!! I’m gonna go check it out. Thanks Pete
Some nice gear there, that Ted Baker hoody was real if everything else on it panned out, I used to sell, and had myself a few T. Shirts in the same design. I was in The BHF on Piccadilly, Manchester yesterday and they were asking between £8 & £15 for GStar tees, they had tons of MAN which is BooHoo, all brand new, the Offices etc are directly behind and these were all samples M/L tees and 32/34 in jeans
Just subscribed to your channel mate I’m from Sheffield,South Yorkshire lol you’ve got me on to doing this 😂 watched your videos you’ve got me on to it little quick money earner thanks for your channel appreciate you 👊🏽👍🏽
I'm going to make it my mission to try and make a decent return on a Blue Harbour item; there just has to be a diamond in an otherwise rough brand! 🤣 Great finds and info as always; you're a true stalwart in the reselling game. 👍
Can’t believe you were in sunny Doncaster!! I have the worst luck buying so you’ve just proved I’m not wasting my time. Did you manage to avoid any tickets in the town centre? I don’t fancy having to pay to park at the shopping centre every time I want to hit a few shops 😂
After watching a bunch of your vids I had a look through the charity shops in my town, Guildford, but man, the prices for the good items are WAY higher than you guys are paying! This is a pretty affluent area so you can get some quality stuff, but the charity shops are ON IT. Anything with a known name eg Ralph Lauren or some other designer, is not worth buying to sell. Those RL polos you turned down for a few quid would be 20-25 here. Anyway, great channel, I enjoy all the vids, and you guys have great chemistry!
Hi Pete, I hope your well mate. I’ve been watching your videos over the last few days and I think their great! Is there anyway I can DM you or something as I’d like some tips because I’m thinking about doing the same thing. Many thanks.
Hey Pete, was wondering, in one of your videos you show your items that your selling being stored in Poly bags, what size is it you use? I keep meaning to get some to store my clothes in. Again, loving the content man, love the editing, feels so much more unique than other channels that do similar things, respect! 👊
Thank you I spend a lot of time trying to make it my own so I appreciate it! I use the 13” x 18” resealable bags, they seem to fit everything in and if it’s too big, it probably doesn’t need bagging up anyway 😂
@@Chaddypete thanks a bunch Man! And yeah you can tell you put time into it, your personality plays a lot into it too, just such a positive attitude, really makes for great content!
Loving your videos, I was wondering if it's still worth picking up 'winter' wear when approaching the warmer months. I guess if it's nice enough, you 'set it and forget it'?
Can you do a video on the actual selling aspect please bro? Like your most recent sales and how long they take to sell, best platforms to sell on and stuff would be really helpful thanks !!
How many shops do you do at a time and how many days do you buy and how far do you travel ? I buy ornaments vintage and shabby chic stuff I’m trying to do more though
😂when you was modelling those boots , and pulled those trousers up🤣, i found a boss new charity shop on Saturday, i was a bit nervous as i felt like they were watching my every move, some lady had picked through all the clothes and had bags full, but i managed a few bits, thanks for the tips ( i still have to get an app on my phone to check things)
Ah In my neck of the woods I see, I saw the Ted baker hoodie in there aswell and decided against it. Not found much in scope and the hanger before really.
@@Chaddypete I got some good bits in the Hanger once, still learning clothing but get a lot of tips from yourself so appreciate the info. Keep it up mate.
Great video you guys, you make me chuckle soo much!! Love it and I'm only down the road from you in Market Drayton, I love buying and re selling iv done it for over 12 years xxx
When people start they don’t have much capital so it’s better to flip as quick as possible so they can reinvest. Obviously if an item is worth 3/4 figures then I would happily wait, but for the day in/day out stuff I would rather see it gone 😂
@@Chaddypete Some good stuff to be found though, like since it's weigh and pay you can get polos for reasonably cheap and they are an easy money maker. Know you like to aim for 4-5x buying price so I could understand why you'd be picky. Can be fun to scour for the luxury brands sometimes though.
Loving the content as usual. Do you ever get charity shop workers increasing the price quickly because they know you and know you sell the clothes on ebay?
Found your channel a couple of days ago and can't stop watching, brilliant videos, good information and help, love the mooching about myself, can't wait now for next Monday, start bargain shopping with your tips, help, Are you from Chadderton? Sound like you from Oldham,if yes which is the best area nearby for "bangers" please, Thanks, keep em coming.
Cheers for watching! Yes mate I’m from Chad. To be honest there’s no real good area, it’s just what’s in the shops, I could to the same shop for weeks and there be nothing in it, then all of sudden, there’s everything you’ve ever wanted 😂
I've currently got that exact same BOSS Orange shirt you were gonna pick up, for sale 😅 Picked it up from a charity shop for £1.50. I'll be honest I'm trying to flip it for £15 but am just not getting any interest. Any tips or advice? Clothing isn't my regular area of expertise for reselling, if it wasn't obvious enough 😬😅
Just some items go off trend for a while and come back again at some point! It will sell eventually but will probably take some time. I just sold a Tommy Hilfiger shirt which I’ve had for 4 years 😂
@@Chaddypete 100% agree. I knew at the time that BOSS Orange was like...the more affordable version of Hugo Boss, but was still never leaving it at £1.50. Yeah I've been shifting alot of old stock recently which I've had for about a year. Just kept lowering prices till sold
Love your content mate just subbed, is it random which charity shops you hit? Or how do you work on a month by month basis as I guess that’s a big part of it?
I wish I could i say I was organised with it but I just go where I land 😂 I do keep a note of where I’ve been so I tend to only go to same place monthly, but I like to go on random adventures so I just make it up as I go along
I don’t expect you to answer this questions as it’s a little intrusive so I’ll keep it very vague. Do you make more than 20k a year doing this ? Just want to see if it’s worth doing on the side at weekends.
Hi mate, loving your content and I have recently dipped my toe into the re-selling game! Hard work when you work full time as well but you can't beat the hunting buzz! Just a quick question? I notice you tend to sell alot to international buyers - do you use the global shipping programme ebay offers or not? Cheers
Normally from the shops they are steamed and that tends to do the trick but if they need extra cleaning I will do. I always keep in mind that people will end up washing them anyway so I don’t overdo it!
Hi mate, loving your videos mate been binge watching all of these sourcing videos, keep it up! Quick question when you're working out your profit for the month how do you get an exact figure because do you count the items that you've currently listed as a loss until it sells or do you not add them to your calculations until they've sold? thanks
So I don’t count the unsold items as it starts getting quite complicated. I have set amount I spend on buying items a month so I could deduct it that way
Enjoyed the video , how do you get the amount sold in 3 month and amount active is that on the Ebay app should do an app vid might be too handy for the competitors though..stay safe
Hey ! I was wondering if you could help , currently a student and looking to do reselling over the summer as I’m off for 6 months . Do you have a video where you go over the top 15 brands to look out for in the uk or something similar
Hi Pete. Could you please do a video on beginner tuturial for what you do and how to start please? Including selling platforms, how to list, how to take photos, how to get paid, and how to package and post etc. Regards Alan
Love the videos big man, Does anyone know the name Alan cherry, researched the name and found out he a famous designer. BUT..... can't find any items/ information to get a guide price on what I found. It's a late 80s early 90s blazer silk wool blend. Paid £12 but have no clue on worth
