Davud, I'm from Bangladesh. U misunderstood that gentle man. He didn’t try to control u. He was trying to help u selflessly, this is very common and important part of Bangladeshi culture. He was telling u to seat in that shop, bkz he wanted to make u comfortable, that u can seat and have tea. Actually he wasn’t telling u history, but thanking u for helping us in 1971,freedom fighting considering u as Russian. It looks like he understands english a bit, not much. Another man was saying that his ring's stone is coral. My english is also poor. Hope u understand.

It was nice and funny to see the "dialogue" between the history teacher passionately explaining about Pakistan, to the student who sits and looks and nods his head in agreement and full understanding. Davud, you have a wonderful talent for improvisation, but the teacher also has the talent to "have the audacity" to invite himself to tea. The teacher took advantage of Davud, when he saw him paying for the meal of his friends at the table, he thought "why not... Davud can also pay for my tea". This is a problem sometimes in our society where people don't know the line between a request and a demand.❤🌺❤
