Well then what is a false adventure and a real adventure? Many people leave abusive relationships and do end up finding forgiveness for the person who hurt them - not logically, not sophisticatedly, but through Christ. We forgive because we are forgiven.

We forgive because we are forgiven. It’s as simple as that. You don’t need to be sophisticated. God has forgiven our sins, we did nothing to deserve that forgiveness. We are merciful because we know how glorious mercy is.
