Not being Mexican or of Mexican descent the holiday doesn't mean much to me but Canelo fighting Munguia seems like an interesting match up for boxing. The fighters shouldn't play up the Mexican thing too much because Boxing is an International sport no need to exclude boxing fans who are not Hispanic, Latino or Mexican, it gets boring, it should be a great day for boxing period. And for people who don't know there is no Mexican style, that was something made up by the Mexican boxing media. There have always been fighters who have an aggressive style such as icons like Jake Lamotta, Harry Greb and Rocky Marciano and Mexicans didn't invent the liver shot, Sugar Ray Robinson was the master of body shots. One thing Mexican or fighters of Mexican descent can learn is how to clinch when hurt.
