​@@OryxAU ESO was made by Zenimax, Zenimax owns Bethesda and has owned Bethesda for a while. Bethesda Game Studios developed Fallout 76. The more successful, not horrible buggy mess of a game that is sadly not multiplayer Skyrim wasn't made by them, it was made by what you could call their boss. (I actually quite like ESO, but not as a "multiplayer Skyrim" kind of game, it's an MMO) And the horrible buggy mess that was and still is a lore-breaking mash-up of unfitting themes cash grab was made by the same people who brought us Skyrim and Fallout 4. (Bethesda themselves) You want Fallout New Vegas multiplayer?, Get them to put Obsidian on the job and somehow convince them to hire some people who can actually work on netcode instead of giving their already existing employees crash courses on it and expecting them to put out top quality work. TLDR; Neither of the games were outsourced, but the truth about both of them is even more depressing than what you thought was the truth.

ESO isn't a half bad MMORPG, and while I love that the game has the Elder Scrolls IP to work with, but it's certainly not the small-scale coop multiplayer most people are looking for.

I love how they have very specific roles : Poob comes up with jokes, Sam wheezes, and Bryan contemplates the desolate state of industrial society in near complete silence for 1 hour. Meanwhile the guest is cowering in fear in Sam's basement.

Skyrim together reborn is porting to fallout4, so if the NV in fo4 remaster mod ever comes out that might be the best way to play NV with friends, might be a while before it's all ready though.
