If electromagnetic force holds electrons and protons "together", why electrons are not stuck to the protons? I mean, the electromagnetic force is pulling electrons toward protons, as far as I understood, so why electrons are in orbitals and not in the nucleus? Why they are not stuck as magnets get stuck... And, elections have a negative charge, and protons, positive, so can they be interpreted as some kind of monopoles?

@@ozymandiasultor9480 well part of this is the Pauli exclusion principle: for fermions (particles with non-integer) only one fermion of each state can occupy a specific area. Electrons have two states: up and down. Thus two per orbit, there are up to 4 valence orbits for everything from lithium to argon, coresponding to the octet rule. These orbits are also why bonds are made of two electrons not just one (you can have one electron bonds ie with H2+ but those are incredibly unstable and rare). What defines this area or how much force it takes to deform it I'm not sure, I think it's the wave function for the area that it wants to take up and as for the force exerted I think it's like a spring, I'm not sure but basically when deformed force fight back And yes, protons/electrons are indeed monopoles. They have a magnetic dipole which has to do with the spin number but yes they are monopoles

@@BlenderTimer well the problem with your video, what is keeping the atoms can't touch another atoms, it must be SOMETHING come out of those atoms , - so by that definition, you still touch a bunch of stuff, it just you can't actually touch atoms directly , but that doesn't MEANS you can't touch anything
