I’m an older lady, but i find the very best music is timeless. The only difference is HiFi Stereo-phonics and zero distortion played through wooden speakers holding tweeters, woofers and subwoofers. 3 1/2’ tall. Procal Harem, Yes, Moody Blues it gets you to a better place and late for school, because I was, and I was honest about it. FM; King Biscuit Flower Hour; or was it Flour? Any way it was nation wide. Christopher Tin also wrote the themes for the Civilization video games, and all of the themes are really epic. @JimTheFly

My gamer symphony orchestra performed Baba Yetu, and because of illness, I had to step in at the last minute to be the soloist for it. I've been singing in church choirs for nearly 40 years now and I've never had a piece move me as much as that did. Even when I performed it, I cried during the bridge, because I described the solo part during it as the closest thing to "the Spirit moving me". We did it a second time with the original soloist doing his part and both I and the alto soloist got even MORE emotional from it. That song just has a power to it that I can't put into words.

Christopher Tin is an absolute legend! His masterness of the chorale technique is quite impeccable. One of his best along with Baba Yetu.

I just love this, the singer, and words. I love African music. One can connect with it as Africa is the Seat of Civilization. All people come from there and we all have some measure of African genes in us. Proud of the little I have. 😊

It's true! It warmed my heart and I was grinning... with a tear in my eye too ❤ (And I don't even know what this was. But I'm so glad I listened.)

I did smile, but I was so completely overwhelmed by the beauty of this piece that I cried. I want to sing this so badly!!! I keep restarting the video to hear the male soloist velvet and emotional vocals and his belt, ah!!

Thanks so much for featuring this clip, George! Unlike the viral short, it features the differing dynamics and transitions that occur through the entire piece that make it so exciting! Jimmer B

Banger of a song Edit: I felt deja vu for how I felt about this song and realized I get this feeling for Kokia's "I believe" live performances. Awe? Happiness? Somewhere in between.

How did the female singer not get the pronounciation of "Alech" down like all the other singers did? On a high note: I like that she was getting jiggy with it tho.
