Even if you’re in the middle of the city, you can try urban farming in BGC. Yes, below towering buildings in one of the Philippines’ CBD is an urban farm where you can plant and learn the basics of urban farming or harvest for the vegetables you need. The Urban Farmers showed Common Room’s Roma, Maan, and Selia how to prep the soil, transplant seedlings, and how to properly harvest lettuce.
Common Room PH is a collaborative space for artists and makers in the Philippines. Our physical
stores provide a venue for local creatives to showcase their handcrafted products and original artworks. Our web store and digital platform on RU-vid enable our community to reach more, not only through their products, but also through their stories. Our hope is that whether online or offline, these venues provide a home and a safe space for creatives to express themselves, support each other, grow together, and empower others to make with their hands.
