Update, playing around with this in Resolve 19 (beta) and seems to be a lot better where you can hit the source clip/source tape (what I re-mapped to tilde) then you can use the down arrow to click into the next clip, it works quite well and is a little bit quicker than having to wait to speed into the next clip using shuttle keys as originally suggested. When I made this video, it would only do this in list view. (if you were in thumbnail view, it would stop at the end of the row and was frustrating). Ideally, they'll have a key to bypass even having to activate the source tape to enable the down click. if you activate media pools, it's a few more clicks rather than 1 click. but it's an improvement so I can't complain!
P.S it takes a bit of getting used to but within 15 mins or so, you should be in the swing of it. My advice is to keep your mouse away so you have to use the keyboard only, then it works very fast. Also if you can't get the tilde key to toggle between the two after keybinding it, ensure your keyboard layout is set to the correct country.
Hey man got it off Amazon, it's Solayce Laptop Stand, but I've since started using a PC cooler stand instead as it has the same height adjustment and keeps the laptop cool when editing. The cooling stand I got is a KLIM PC cooling stand. and I'd recommend it over the other stand.
