You CANNOT Miss THIS!! | Albania's SHALA River 

Described as the Thailand of Albania, Shala River is an incredible sight to see that is truly unique and in our opinion, different from any other sight in the world! Hidden away in the mountains, we felt like we had this place all to ourselves. If you're coming to Albania and this isn't on your list- IT SHOULD BE!

The boat to Shala River leaves from here, you can get a ride to the Terminal from your accommodation in Shkodra.

(accommodation in Shkodra, which is where we arranged our trip to Shala from)
Note: We did not go with a specific tour company. We talked to the owner of Mi Casa Es Tu Casa in Shkodra and she made the calls to set up our stay at Bee Eco Guesthouse, and transport to and from. You can also book a tour online yourself. (Don't forget to compare prices!)
DO NOT FORGET CASH. You will pay at Shala River where there are no ATM's. Bring extra in case you want to get alcohol, coffee, or lunch the following day if staying overnight.
