The silicone you use to make your inlays makes a difference, too. I had a cheap silicone I bought a while ago and it absolutely fused to the molds. I haven't had Let's Resin brand fuse to the molds.

Using a stronger (or maybe even just harder?) silicone like dragonskin would alleviate worry about tearing smaller bits, albeit at a bit of a cost!

I love these, and you chose the perfect colour for the silicone. I had to leave my resin project for a doggy-sitting gig today, and I have some resin leaves with orange mica waiting to be turned into jewellery, once I get back. I hope you'll get back to your studio in the new home soon, because I want to see what you make with these!

I remember seeing Wendy (at ToonPish) putting a thin coat of vasiline on her molds, but again it is at your own risk, I suppose sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't 🙂
