On the second point. Fauci's claim is that it would be impossible given the results the Wuhan lab gave them. This plays right into earlier questioning about auditing grant recipients, which they don't do according to Fauci.

I disagree that any sort of investigation is required. Fauci lied before congress. The case is shut and closed there. He needs to be removed from his position of power and held accountable for that, bare minimum. Once he is no longer able to leverage power to cover for his crimes, then a real investigation can be done.

Rand Paul, in contrast, was extremely clear and easy to understand, and backed up his claims with resources.
