Hey ya'll, I took the ferry to The Bahamas again! The Balearia Caribbean Ferry that goes to Bimini, Bahamas and Freeport, Grand Bahama. This stay was a hosted stay but the hotel currently has a lot of package deals like the ferry and hotel for people $299 per person per night I believe but here’s a link where you can check it out in more detail: rwbimini.com/event/cyber-month-2023/

No problem! I got it while on a cruise that stopped in Roatan, Honduras. It was a shop on the port and they had a lot of hand painted straw hats - scored it for like $25 dollars

Beautiful!! But I do have a question, were you born in the Bahamas and then you moved to the U.S orr are you a descendant? Would you move back to the Bahamas?

I was born and bred in the Bahamas and then went to the USA for university and ended up staying. I would only move back if I could find gainful employment or open up a business there because the cost of living is a bit high - however personally I think the cost of living is getting higher in the United States. I’ve definitely mulled over it though and eventually would want to live there part time seeing as most of my family is still there

They accept credit cards and there’s ATMS on the island but best to walk with cash as well

It's pretty long to walk especially in the sun. Check out 700 adventures - I linked them in the description box - that's how we got around or you can rent a golf cart.
