I just went on this day trip 2weeks ago and it’s definitely worth it! Instead of the beach resort, I went to the public beach which to me was much more enjoyable. Also, Bimini Big Game Bar and Grill Club had amazing fried conch.

Its actually not bad and if you want to stay overnight, Resorts World Bimini does a package deal with the ferry as well.

@@Bahamianista sounds great! We do think that we will try to do this. Right now we have a couple of cruises booked in November and a trip to JAX in September, so I'll have to see what we have going on. I think we have a Panhandle trip in October.

Hi Siri and Uwe. The one day (in my opinion) is not enough. I also went back and stayed overnight for 2 nights and I felt like that was a better use of the trip. I think for people who are pressed for time or want to jam in as many things as possible whether they're visiting Florida or have limited paid time off then the day trip may suffice but if you have more time - I'd recommend staying overnight.

I stayed at Resorts World Bimini last time I went - across the street there are a number of condos/villas that you can rent via Airbnb as well

New sub🎉 Great video! Ty! Looks heavenly..can't wait to go! We are flying into FL from the west coast to take the ferry. I'm assuming there's a shuttle to ferry from FL airport or will we need to get an uber? Is the nicest lodging the hilton? It's me my husband and 2 older boys 11 and 14...would like budget friendly but also right on the beach if possible..any advice, recommendations would be so appreciated. Thank you! Hi, you have swedish song in your intro. So i question is there no other ferry’s then balerian I mean for a day trip for a family of five it is 1125 roundtrip to Bimini. Thank you for good videos.

The only other ferry is called bahamasferries.com and they only service the other islands of The Bahamas. It doesn't leave from South Florida.

Cool video! Quick question, did you have to complete an immigration arrival card for the Bahamas? If so, did the ferry company take the immigration departure card? I’m trying to plan a trip now :)

Hi! I actually have a Bahamian passport so no I never have to fill out the immigration form but for everyone else - they ask you to do so. When you check in the staff will definitely let you know what forms are needed to be filled out

Do you recommend exploring Bimini outside of resort with children?

You can- it is on the quieter side of all the Bahamian islands and has that more “family island” feel where it’s not as busy as Nassau (which has more crime). I think just rent a big enough golf cart plus North Bimini is pretty small - you won’t get lost although I’m not quite sure if there’s anything geared specifically for kids. I’m looking to head back next month so I’ll share a bit more then

Hi Katerina. I can't say but I would call the Ferry service to get that information. I don't think it would be an issue with either but you should double check with them as they can give you the best information.

I've seen people get their gold cart right off the boat instead of going to the hotel first. Do you feel it's better to go to the resort first price wise and experience wise? Is going to the hotel required?

Wait-the ferry company just dropped you off at an entirely different dock and you didn’t know where your car was? That sounds terrible!

The Port apparently changed where they were supposed to dock. I spoke to them about it and they said it was out of their control but keep that in mind if you do take it.

@@AikenAdventures i think that may have been a one off issue because I haven’t heard anyone else speak about it. I actually don’t have any advice for that but there are yellow taxis still going back n forth so best bet may be to grab one and let them know where you parked in port Everglades if the shuttle isn’t running. You can also check the shuttle times to see when they stop running

They definitely have some things to work on - my initial trip to Bimini with them there was an issue with them changing ports so it left a lot of ppl looking for transport/their vehicles for a good while. I did go back though and had a better time + It was much more organized.

video is very nice but honestly this trip isn't. so overpriced for what it is, beaches and services very limited, pretty nothing to see even for a short stay, locals really just trying to get as much cash as possible. definetely a tourist trap. Sea colour is great but if you can go to another bahamian island
