Andrew! Here's a fact, you can kill the golden gonk another easy way. Just jump and attack (Square Or Circle cuz either one kills) then golden gonk just dies from the attack! I don't know why. if it doesn't work, try a Jedi or a sith character and watch the golden gonk just explode. P.S rebel Friend is still waiting for you in the echo base on hoth
