professional cleanig supplies arent like that shit at the supermarket. It actually works as advertised. they have shit that will suck piss out of tile. not exagerating. there's always places in centre where the gents take a leak, usually stinks to high heaven spray it with anti-piss, wait 10 minutes. hose it down and its fresh like a babies room

Part of this is managements fault...if they did regular inspections (twice a year) on the upkeep of their flats/apartments you would catch the problem before it got this bad then give them x-amount of days/weeks to clean, if not, evict them. At the same time it would save management on money doing extreme cleaning.

Flats requiring this level of cleaning would be a very small number of the council’s property. I imagine they’ve done a cost analysis of employing someone to inspect all of their properties twice a year vs cleaning one or two of these flats per year.

Hoarders and the mentally ill that end up living liKe this usually leave lights on for that reason Otherwise they couldn't sleep at night because mice or too noisey or fear of spider/insect bites is usually the most I've heard.. I have experience doing this cleaning as part of a community based voulenteer thing. Porno and needles also usually means they were a Meth user and heavy mastabater 🤢

I legitimately don't know how the person living like this does not go *CRAZY.* It's gotta be the self-medicating, which just adds another sad, depressing layer on top of the living situation I'm no psychiatrist but I'd reckon it's almost like a manifestation of the persons self-esteem turned to life through their choices, a never ending cycle of bad decision after bad decision. I got a glimpse of a small set of bookshelves and there were a few books there. As Jill said in the other reply, the books give you an "insight into their personality". I also watch videos about exploring abandoned houses and I always want to see what books are there. Sadly most abandoned explorer give the books little attention. I'm guessing that's because they're young and have grown up with computers and haven't had as much involvement with books as older people so have less interest in them.

What are council homes? Is that government housing? If so how do they get evicted..sorry from US and never been to England..

Indeed, you are correct. In the UK, they’re called “council houses” = government housing. In Belgium we call it “social housing”, and it’s the same concept: low rent property. To get evicted you just need the standard reasons mostly: not paying rent, not taking proper care of the property and being an asshole to the neighbors, pretty much. Also, many of those tenants simply leave when they know they’ll get evicted sooner or later so that’s why I think there should be a black list for this sort of ungrateful pigs that mooch off the system and doesn’t even take care of the house that tax payers are paying for him/her.
