Extreme cleaners Dave and Graham open the door to a nightmare house clearance.
After receiving mutliple complaints from the neighbours, they have been tasked with clearing out the property which they have been informed is in a "bad state" - a pretty big understatement.
The two battle hardened experienced cleaners need to battle through layers of revolting filth and hundreds of curdled milk bottles to clear the property and get it ready for re-sale. If anyone has the stomach to do the job, it's these two.

Watch the bath episode. They explain that wearing masks makes the job a lot worse, since the smell gets trapped in the mask and becomes inescapable. Breathing in through the mouth and out through the nose gets the job done.

Yes. I actually read a psychology book, called "Men under Stress" that had a whole chapter about men who came back from WW2, with PTSD (not called that then, shellshock), and would only drink milk. Gallons a day. Probably to deal with ulcers, and acid associated with stress, but also some childhood thing, mothers made them drink a lot of milk. The calcium and magnesium calms the nerves , and the Vitamin D added helps because depressed people never go out in the sun. They crave it.

I have never seen anything like that bathroom. All those sanitary pads just thrown on the floor and no way to wash. I understand there can be mental illness at the root of some of these disgusting homes but God above how can it get this bad? So sad that someone lives this way and nobody checks on them. So sad that there are so many ppl who need homes that wouldn’t destroy them this way.

Having worked with people with serious MH issues, unfortunately this is how many choose to live. And also, they have a right to make their own choices and you can't make them clean up. Where do you draw the line with the law? I would prefer you being able to clean up before it gets this bad. It's a shame to see people live like this.

Aran , Same here .....but believe it or not I have seen worse and the neighbour I visited one year at Christmas to invite for a meal had 10 stinking cat's. ...and she fed them and kept them inside all the time . A beautiful privately owned big house and the woman had been a lecturer at Oxford University who didn't have any psychiatric problems at all which was confusing for my family and myself . 😨😨😨

I honestly don't understand why they didn't put them outside or something. Open a window (there were windows!) and throw it in the bin, outside. Smell blows away in the wind and the bottles are neatly gone and quickly thrown in the trash.

There’s mental illness then laziness or just not caring because it’s not their property, I’m sure if it was their own property that they owned, they wouldn’t treat it in a way that would compromise it. Mental illness is used as a scape goat too much

I know it’s hard to understand but in my line of work in the past you wouldn’t believe how people stop caring about themselves . Social services have their hands full with those cases .

Maria Cebrian sorry but I don’t agree. I’m BPD and bipolar, my daughter died in May shortly after birth and I was hospitalised after trying to kill myself, I was in a really dark place. During this time, no my house was not clean, it was messy but not at all to this level. I do believe mental illness has an effect on how clean your house is but it is combined with laziness too

I figured it out, with all those milk bottles strewn around they lived in there with the herd of cows. Years ago we knew a lady that had like a foot of trash all through her house it even went up the stairway! We moved away and later my brothers went back and saw her and I said what her house look like? They said remember when it was 1 foot deep, well now it's 2 feet deep.
