You don't like to watch my Bobcat E42 Mini Excavator videos, so I'll you show you how it functions hoping you watch it I'm my videos. GoPro Max. Please check out my book, "Mind Kill, Rise of The Marauder" at Amazon and Kindle.
I just got one of these bobcat mini excavators myself. I did some research ahead of time but the more I see these types of videos the happier I am with my selection. Thank you for empowering me to begin using my new machine safely.
OMG Robert no thanks needed you made my day with such a positive comment. These excavators are just so handy you'll be amazed. Operate safely and take care.
I'd recommend demoing machines. Thank you very much I hope this video helps you. Checkout my other videos if you have time she's great at digging stumps out be safe
Just picked up a 2020 E42 R1 with 71 hours on it. Pretty much the same price as much higher hour machines. Looking forward to using it. I have 15 years worth of excavator projects backlogged!
Well (jokingly) you have a lot of stiff competition posting up mini excavator videos, Kapper treats his like a second home. He's always got something going that's interesting to watch and then there's Mike Morgan who shows how versatile a mini can be for so many things that normally a person may not think of. Plus there are many others so it's a tough market. Start that shop build and that should keep the viewers coming back.
No joke you are exactly right. Kappers a good guy and man he uses his more than anyone. Thank for being honest. I’ll follow up with you on the garage. Thank you for supporting my channel
J I've said for years Kapper is the hardest working creator on RU-vid I've been watching him for years. Outdoors with the Morgans...beautiful family and nice success story. I never thought I was competing with any channels let alone these two. Thank you for being honest and supporting my channel, you are probably correct.
@@maraudermitchelli Yes there is a lot of content available for people to watch, Andrew Camarata is another great channel, the guy has so much equipment and it seems he can fix about anything. Keep doing what is comfortable for you and it will work out, I enjoy your channel and will keep viewing going forward. Take care...
Love your Bobcat Mini excavator. I can't justify a dedicated mini-ex but have been able to get by just fine with a 3 Series OS equipped with a 485 backhoe. Just sold that rig and waiting on a new 4066R Deluxe Cab ordered last November. I do have a new 485A backhoe waiting for the 4066R's arrival.
Frank you have an awesome machine setup good for you. I hope viewers will feel more comfortable renting an excavator even daily, they are very intuitive to operate. I hope your tractor comes soon thank you for supporting my channel.
Love the mini ex, keep them coming. I'll admit that I'm more of a tractor guy, but that's my thing, and while it was the 3046R that led me to your channel I enjoy all of your videos. Again, it was your tractor videos that helped my in my latest purchase, but I'll have to wait until mid summer to reveal that on my channel.
I've watched your channel, you really use a tractor and your property is beautiful. Thank you for your positive comment...lol my excavator doesn't get much love. Thank you for supporting my channel
Hey Pete, Love the bobcat. I can see how useful it could be on your property. How long did it take you before the joysticks became second nature? You got pretty good with them. The 3046R is still my favorite though.
If anything my goal is to show viewers that even an average guy like me can operate an excavator. Like myself someone can rent an excavator for a day or two for jobs their tractor cannot complete. It does not take long to get productive to the controls and they can be switched between backhole and Cat operation. Thank you for supporting my channel...and the tractor.
Great video. Just started watching you this past month. I’ve enjoyed all the videos. Have you ever thought about renting your mini out during these down months?
Enjoyed the video however I think the problem with the excavator videos is that most homeowners who watch your channel can or do own off road vehicles and tractors but I'm guessing very few of us own or will ever own an excavator.
Roy I think you're correct and thank you for the constructive comment. I use to rent an excavator or track loader years ago...sometimes a task is just unrealistic for a tractor. I do believe you are correct thank you for helping and supporting my channel.
That's a great point. I think that is probably the number one reason why they are not popular. Before I owned a mini excavator I rented them by the day or weekend. An excavator can do what a backhoe or front end loader can not. I use to rent a stump grinder for 350 a day...which is about what the excavator would rent for. My favorite stump grinder became very difficult to rent...impossible. In our area contractors are getting a $1000 plus for small trees without removing the stump...you can see how an excavator for the short term makes sense to rent or own for the short term. We'll see how long it's useful on my property. Thank you for helping me I appreciate that...again you are probably spot on. Thank you for watching my videos and supporting my channel.
We owned a horse farm once…I’m not sure what you’re using it for. Compared to other brands I would recommend, no def required, no exhaust regeneration parts are readily available price is competitive. Cab is plush. If the operator needs to speak to others like when installing pipe some prefer a vertical door. There are so many good machines. Happy new year I would do your research and demo 😊
I’ve never heard complaints about their replacement parts, in fact I’ve heard that they are readily available, but I could be wrong…CAT parts wow they’re expensive. But I don’t know for sure. Happy New year
