schaff's opinion on cars was kinda funny, i saw a lot of comments saying that, hey, it didn't need to be told by cars themselves, it just was, and i agree. it was a design choice. i feel like involving humans would've made the movie more mediocre than it already was (which is coming from someone who holds this movie with high nostlagic regard; this is my comfort movie). Maybe i should rewatch the video essay of his so it can be fresh on mind and i could perhaps make a better argument, because its currently 1AM, and i can barely see my keyboard lol, but maybe not, idk. I like both movies, i watched both Turbo and Cars a lo as a kid, and i have them both on the same pedestal. Both are very hmhhhahah, one's about snails an the other isnt

The criticism they gave is hyperbolic, but still... While i like Cars more (although that's probably nostalgia speaking), i agree that Turbo is a good movie.
