Nice! Mesmerized and entranced is how I felt listening to this. The song is in Old Norse. Vígundr roughly means "temple of battle" and Loddfáfnir was a man who presented wisdom and ethics in the Hávamál, an Old Norse poem.

great song! i'm pretty sure that this here would be also great for a reaction: "Valravn - Farin Uttan At Verða Vekk Lyrics in Faroese & English" her voice spreads some magic, you cannot exactly grip what it is - her intonation, how she stresses the syllables, you need to listen to yourself and tell me

This was totally beautiful. I loved the chanting with the arhieral sounding singing behind it. With the drums on top......wow.....just a really amazing sounding piece. I can think of about 2 or 3 spots this could fit in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Maybe I am just thinking that because Mezmier has been kicking my ass repeatedly. Lol. Great stuff Tommy.

Stunning video. Personally i feel this genre is becoming a bit over-populated with many artists basically trying to copy Heilung and Wardruna and some of it falls pretty flat, but this was good.

Yeah, there are a few standouts that hold their own. However some pop up every now and then that you can tell are just trying to capitolize on the trend.

Agreed. I understand where someone is so moved by this that they want to replicate it. But yea, Theres only a few groups I really listen to that help me to feel that heart.

I had a scare last night. I was laying on my right side half asleep and felt a weight on the bed behind me. I thought the cat had come in, and started to turn in bed to greet it. There was a bloodcurdling scream from behind me and something leaped off my bed. I was so startled that I was frozen. It's amazing how many donuts a half-asleep mind can do in the mud in a fraction of a second. Was I dreaming? Was a ghost in my bed? Did I startle an alien prober? A succubus? Then, from where I was laying rigid, I saw a red fox dart out the cat door in the living room. What the hell it was doing on my bed, I have NO idea. Maybe I smelled like something it wanted to roll-in. ••• EAST! Taureg!!!

@@TheWolffAndTheMelody Very real. It's a big civil war era house on a 2 acre lot of big overgrown trees. I've had all kinds of life find its way in here. I've had 3 kinds of snake -- one about 5 feet long. I've had bats and tree frogs and possums. Once I had a small weasel in the closet that got in through a plumbing access panel. Right now I have 2 feral cats that I let in and starting feeding in the winter. The one-eyed female had 4 kittens under a chest of drawers. I think they're here for good. A raccoon comes in and eats the leftover cat food most nights at around 2 AM. Maybe that's how the fox found out about it. Raccoons are always posting selfies of where they eat.
