Wow, Shay, you never seem to stop impressing me with the quality of artistic and spiritual values you provide. It always seems to touch me in some way that makes me question my life journey. I find time to be the most valuable asset you can give anyone because once you give someone your time, you will never get it back.
@@reflections_with_Shay You're welcome; the creative ability between you and Professor Ron is outstanding; you guys make a great partnership, and thank you for taking us along your journey. I am doing great. Life is good.
I plan on traveling alone and find the true happiness in searching out my future and the newness of new friends and discoveries along the way deep inside my mind and body which will change me in so many unexpected ways. I loved your video and its images and your thoughts that you shared. ❤🙏🙌🌎💫🌟😊
A masterpiece! From start to finish. Its hard to decide on a highlight to comment on. The scenes of journey into the unknown, the roses enduring past the prime of their bloom, the man crossing the finish line of the race still going strong. The admonition to make today count because time does not wait, and it doesn't come back. Remarkabe.
Wow! This was like watching a movie! Your videos just keep us wanting more! Very deep meaning behind the professor's poetry, and your amazing filmmaking. What a combo! We loved how your beautiful eyes looked right at us. I was on Okinawa during the war in the 1960's and 70's. Some of the nicest people anywhere. All we can say is thank you for these wonderful moments! Domo arigato gozaimasu!
Thank you so much Al for your thoughtful and kind comments! We really appreciate having you both as patrons! It must have been so different back then! And during war, a different atmosphere. Now, Okinawa is so peaceful, and very beautiful. More to come! 😌
Hope you had a wonderful time tnere in Japan Shay, hows was the food?. Nice video, your insight & thoughts that time waits for no one is spot on. Living the dream Shay, love your work.😉
Even though the thumbnail was Japan, I loved the way you mashed everything together in this video. You didn't actually say it but I felt like the message was that time never stops so take a minute, soak it in, and live In the moment. Sometimes I need that reminder. On a different note, I bet it felt strange to drive on the "wrong" side of the road.
Oi Shay , doing things on your own ?? No dear , your the pied piper of youtube , everywhere you go , everything you do there are 6.14k running along with you trying to keep up 😍
Shay. Once again you light up my life with your thoughts. I feel you...I want to meet you, and your friends. Anytime. You look great Shay, my compliments...I went to Japan as well, about a year after I got back from Iraq. Like you, I too burn the midnight oil, searching for peace and tranquility for my life, and to share my life with someone who wants the same. This video really speaks to me as a man, a veteran, a brother, a friend. I too traveled solo to the Phillipines, this is where my path has led me to. I'm not lonely, or anything like that. I'm following my heart and mind, my debt to the US paid in full, thru sacrifice and overcoming the dark days I went thru. I wish you peace and tranquility everyone...
Thank you John! It's the professor's words, my narration and visuals. We appreciate your constant support and kind words. The professor teaches the military, so he understands what you are saying. We hope you are enjoying your time in the Philippines. Stay safe!
I'm not sure who the professor is, but the words come from you. And I am enjoying this beautiful country, as for my time here, im not leaving. I'm home
You are very insightful about Okinawa. I was stationed there for a total of 12 years while in the military. During those years I had the opportunity to visit your beautiful country a total of 26 times. The best of both worlds I guess you can say.
Very perceptive Jerry! He and Prof. Ron are close friends. We did an interview with Hanshi, but the interview was lost with all the lost data last summer. We hope to do another for you all to see.
I studied Uechi Ryu directly from Master Uechi at the Futenma dojo while on Okinawa. I joined the Marine Corps in 1975 specifically to go to Okinawa and study karate. Wow, small world.
Goat, Time is an illusion that exists in the material A singular instance - that exists for all eternity The duality of its singularity & infinity The trilogy of past, present, and future Time yields as it is bent and shaped by gravity Glimpsing itself in the mathematical proof of relativity Looking back upon itself as it succumbs to the gravity of a black hole I pray for the grace to live in its now and the courage to embrace its immediacy I fear not the death of my mortal coil or perishing of my ego I fear I may not like the reality I awaken to and my friendly illusion time is not in attendance. Damn, I hate it when their late....... text message..... what do they mean their not coming. Ugh, Goat, Self is an illusion blah blah blah jibber jabber jibber jabber Oh good, they have lemonaide ShayRon, I really enjoyed your performance.... as often happens, you sent me into introspection. Peace and Love, B Goat
@@reflections_with_Shay Well, you have been the main inspiration for my continued interest in retiring in the Philippines. You deliver a feel and sound of truth, love, and enlightenment with all you do. We have been friends for some time, and I can honestly say that I feel your pain. As an empath, it's part of my journey to be engulfed with emotions from all directions.
Sorry Benoit, I don't speak French, so the Google translation might not have been accurate. I feel fullness and joy (from the translation.) I am rarely sad, and I enjoy my life, including friends, family, my partner, and yes, even at times, solitude. I see every moment (time) as precious. 😌
Thank you for your time and answer. As for me, I am living with a thaï woman in Thailand since 2006.. 18 years already now... we will marry soon, don't tell anyone ! Love, respect, freedom of movement and sincere communication (in thaï) are our key. Aged 68 (me) and 59 (she). I am writing a book about our love story. We have a farm in the country-side, 600 km from Bangkok. Friendly thoughts to you.
