I actually accidentally ran into one of those real hard to spot shinies this way. To think I would have missed it if it wasn't such an aggressive little snot, LOL.
@@DiabloceraI got an Elekid the other day that my Pokémon wouldn’t attack (that’s how I knew it was shiny) And then I got run over by 4 excadrills in a row. I did manage to catch it tho
@spectrefriends3097 Elekid, right on the side of a cliff. I was struggling to climb it because pokemon kept coming to the side like I was throwing a pizza party on that wall or something. I didn't notice until I friggin failed to get around them, but one them was indeed, shiny
When i was catching a comfy i saw a flipping shiny in the background i was like is that a shiny in the background and I stopped catching the pokemon i was catching and i went up to the shiny and it was a shiny zangoose.
If repels were in this game, they could be used to keep mons from auto encountering you, and they could be used during battle before you run away. That, or have things the way they were in Legends.
i remember i almost lost a shiny growlithe like this i was bored so i was hunting with no sandwich at a houndoom outbreak, and a shiny growlithe showed up, so i tried to rush for it, but the houndoom just kept running into me luckily i did manage to catch him, i named him "WHO" (i have a running theme of naming my shinies after questions, there's been "WHAT", "WHY", "HOW", and "WHO". )
Only problem is if you accidently encounter a pokemon and you see a shiny the shiny will teleport away. I think they should just have given a something like 3 second immunity
