Man after 10 years of play people have to understand that builds dont break with a couple rare jewels unless they are insanity. You rock and I dont follow your guide but I always like to see what you're up to man. Path is just a different creature in the game world. You still have my vote because most content creators for path leave shit out and newbies have 0 idea why their builds dont work. Atleast you're transparent and skilled enough to stick to your guns.
How do pinnacles feel on that current build? I suppose gemswap trap into 6L Firetrap (of blasting) / trap&mine dmg / combustion/cruelty/deadly ailments/swift affliction. Before empower that is. I actually do think that Firetrap of blasting probably feels better than the normal fire trap, as bosses rarely stop moving to take advantage of the burning ground - the drawback is that you have to ignite prior to using it - arca brand/woc/flamm/ele weakness?? (woc was ment to be prior to exposure gloves obviously, could just use arma brand and call it a day.)
This build is complete bait. Everyone knows it. Nobody in League has the currency to Put on shoes with movement speed. More so he shows a mesa.....it's Not even in the Pool next League. Who's gonna fall for this?
People will complain about anything. Stripping the character down even more is even more of a showcase. Not playing this myself, but I've played it in the past and it's easily one of the smoother league starts I've had. Keep up the killer content.
Although it’s easy to respond to your video and complain about people (which I, too, want to do), this video is a representation of your attentiveness, respect for feedback, and desire to teach! Thanks for all you do
C'mon people what more do you want from this man? lol. What a man of the poeple :D Hope your league start goes well and i hope all the followers of your guides are happy.
Now do it blindfolded With just your feet No monitor (blindfold still necessary) 2c budget (including bases + crafting the blues total) 5 mana flasks Lvl 20 Helped oak
Next comments are going to be "But he has a gear piece in each slot!" subtractem absolute UNIT putting out great content. keep it up man. New league hypee!!
Bro, Mesa won't even be in the next league. Why won't you be honest 😭. Naw, I did a test run of this build based on the one you did your act 1-5 test earlier this week. It's awesome. It's perfect for a league starter. The crafting guide will help take it to the next level. Your content is always great & easy to follow. Appreciate it.
Love what you do, thanks. I'm been playing for years but the last year I've understood more and more of what you can do in this game thanks to you. Much love for this one haha.
This is a really good starter build with the advantage that it's fun to play. There are other good starter builds that are not popular yet but then something happens and then suddenly everyone jumps on the bandwagon. That might be the fate of FBI - it just sits there as sleeper OP until the herd gets it. But it's definitely your thing - you think FBI, you think Subtractem, which is kind of cool.
I respect the one take lol I also respect that you're doing this for the people. I love that you have a build that you love so much again. I'd love it if they brought bane back from the boneyard.
My guy xD Normally I'm fully against feeding the trolls. But this time it benefits me, since I get even more motivation to play this build. Cheers, mate :^)
Now do it with no skills but frostblink! And next no gear at all! :) Love the spikey drama. It always makes me chuckle when people grind and grind and grind over the littlest things that someones doing to "manipulate their build". Maybe its all in the face to protect new players, but honestly the new players are going to get screwed over by random things, its how you learn. My first build was a bait build, it sucked, but you know you live and learn. I loved this build and am leaguestarting it again this league, so wish us both luck of the journey ahead. I know the absolute multiplicative nature of this build is what makes it solid like most good builds. Its a joy to league start something you can actually "sorta", though I know its not 100% recommended, play from act 1.
You did great with the build, tried it during Crucible, loved it, tinkered it a bit differently to my liking, had a lot of fun. I don't get why people are demanding so much transparency, when they can try it themselves and tinker with it on Standard. Laziness can be a pain sometimes.
Good video ! :D Have to say that you are really pleasent to listen to.. Love seeing your videos, keep up the good work :D And I feel like you are doing a good job about transparency and explaining how your builds work, though some might not always get it, so don't take it too harshly when/if people critizise you :)
Love the guides! I had a quick question though. I believe in the previous video you mentioned running Enduring Cry and Infernal Cry with the new Call to Arms Passive. Since its been confirmed not to work with multiple WarCry skills would you just drop Enduring for Infernal?
drop enduring, infernal is too good for the build. some build are theorizing that they can weapon swap for a second warcry but im not recommending that in a league starter.
@subtractem Just a question, what is your thoughts on the max roll guide with life tap, and your POB without? Did you add them because more reservation? Or was it more for feel-good?
bro its crazy you had to make this video as if the past year of content meant nothing leading up to this point. Keep up good work ran this build back in crucible got all void stones.
This is what happens when d4 players want to play poe.... Jk but i hope you guys give this man some engagement on his vids for going even further to simplify/noob proof it. If there is another known creator doing more in depth guides for beginners that arent bait im not aware.
The new toxic trait of reddit is neurotically looking for "bait" and then getting excited over it, it's like an aftermath of the EVENT that went on last couple years. Btw you frostblinked out of the boss attack you are supposed to use frostblink only once and then stand on top of the boss without dodging, smh.
Blah, not like a few skill points is going to make or break it. Cool of you to remake the video though. How viable do you think the build is for Delve?
maybe if your audience majority spent less time watching and more time playing the game and understanding everything about it they woud'nt gripe over so much stupid shit but just like asking for the bottom of the bar anyplace these days that seems like a pipe dream lol i dont know how you do these vids man lol love your channel gj
when i buy a game i dont go buy a cheat book at the same time i start it or mod it so im unkillable i read and understand wtf the game is so when i approach it i know wtf im doing and then can enjoy it for what it was made for this also allows me to know if im playing a terribly made game or a good one something people dont understand as quality control is more of a meme these days i view any of these channels as free entertainment not some college of learning were im yelling at a teacher to change for my bad habbits
Im assuming that a lot of people are just reposting stuff they did in 3.23 or 3.22 even though its heavily nerfed. And people have always been making bait builds with false information.
dude you got nothing to prove, this is not a new build. I did my first league (crucible) with this and reached endgame for the first time. You were using leap slap instead of shield charge. This build is the fastest league start mapper in my opinion. Few negative notes for who need an honest opinion. I feel it is squishy early, not moving = instant death, few map mods slow your progression in corrupted red maps.
Careful you may have brand new toxic channels calling you bait. I wont be league starting but I am excited to try this build out at some point this league!
You can always just throw firetrap in your highest link and run a 4 link frostblink in a +1 lvl glove. Bonus points if you get lucky and find a pyre to replace cold to fire support
What "recent events" is he referring to, causing newbies to freak out? 😂 As if hot-stepping hasn't been a thing for years. People just enjoy losing their minds over nothing.
The wild thing is with that fuck up people will go even harder into calling your builds bait and all this other shit. Might turn into another Path of Math thing. If it does please handle it better than him lol...
Most of my favorite PoE content creators are most always speaking just a tad over my skill level/understand of the game, but this is why I watch them. It gives me something to aspire to and offers me lots to think about which in turn fosters a more coherent thought process. I love your stuff Subtractem but pandering to people who complain over stuff like this is a little cringe. ADDENDUM: That sounds a little harsh, but it's not meant to be. Just boosting engagement with thoughts off the top of my head. I played this build when you first introduced it right along side you on Day 1 while you were streaming and had a blast. Thank you.
1 weapon, 3 pieces of gear, all white. Only 7 skill points allocated. Must use a blindfold with hands tied behind your back, playing on an etch a sketch. Show a T17 valdo mageblood map. I mean if it can't do that is it even a viable league starter??? doubt it smh
