Dropped Genshin on 2.6 and returned on 3.7, I felt like a Captain America that woke up after 70 years, looked at the new characters and said "Guys, who the hell are you all?"
Dude i still have trauma from that event i was never able to finish it becase i started a quest that banned my coop and i was a dumb lil kid that didnt notice whilw no guide fir why i chouldnt do the event, ff
Coming back after a long hiatus that started after 2.6 just to find out he looks just like another cookie cutter blue scheme good boy character was such a big disappointment
Bro i remember looking at him the moment he appeared and saying "OH HE'S GOING TO BE MINE" I did quit the game many times after that (1.1 player but 54 AR) BUT now I'm a wanderer main
@@chillix7243what are you even doing, is it your job to gather primo gem. Do you desire to spent your time grinding for virtual currency just so you can blow it all away, wake up this is a game and a game is meant to bring you fun not be another job for you to do outside of your actual job.
Still playing after 3 years bc i genuinely love the game and i have a long time goal of wanting to build all my characters and 100% my account progression
Do you play it casually just curious. I started November 25 and I’m AR 52 just started today grinding for artifacts for lvl 90 raiden (not a flex im well aware im shit lol) I’m just curious bc I to want to reach 100percent on the achievements and plan on playing it for the rest of time I just don’t want it to take three years to reach there 😂
@soulseekerstidham583 extremely late but im mostly casual and I tend to take days off where I don't play it, but I usually like to log on everyday I can and play for at least an hour like exploring or farming, not even after almost 4 years do I have 100% (Hell I only just got to AR 60) but to keep up with exploration and achievements I usually set smaller goals to have a certain amount done before the next nation or update, I think the little goals definable help so much when you actually take a step back and realize how massive genshin Is and is going to be,
I believe that dendro reactions and "old school" reactions are almost at the same power level. Except that dendro is easoer to build, especially bloom and hyperbloom.
@@FriendOfHatkidthe difference is that the heroes from vape, superconductor, melting and geo were built on one dps, which was given the best art. But the stimulation commands require approximately equal investment in each member of the squad. Hydro+dendro teams require a lot of em, which is the rarest among artifacts
Omg that hit hard. I remember a player I met when we were both ar 16. They asked me to teach them how to play genshin 😭😭 we played together for like 8months but they got burnt out and quit
Yea, I even got him because people keep saying he's good. I rarely wish for male unless it's 4 star and it's bonus while wishing for another 5 start female... Hehehe
I was there for 1.0, the launch of Genshin truly was special. You just had to be there. I saw my sister playing Genshin and I was skeptical of the game in the first place, I thought it was like those cheap Korean MMOs like Maplestory. I asked her "Can you go to that cliff over there?" And she said yes. I was blown away. I started playing myself and what hooked me was the trip from Mondstadt to Liyue, especially going up Wangshu Inn. I hadn't immersed myself in a game for so long, not since Sleeping Dogs or Farcry 3 but Genshin gave that spark again. Now Genshin... hmm there's certainly burnout. Can't wait for Fontaine though! I want to see this story through.
I SAW MY BROTHER PLAYING RIGHT WHEN IT STARTED TOO BUT I DIDN'T PAY ANY ATTENTION TO IT AND HE DROPPED IT VERY SOON AFTER 😭😭😭😭 I found out truly abt it in 2.4 when my ex forced me to play only to then drop it saying he was bored of it right when I got addicted to it 💀💀 To think I could've been there too but I didn't pay attention to my brother 🥺🥺
@@eregriou my sister was a literal fake gamer girl and tried doing Twitch at the time and Genshin launched right when she started playing. She was making some nice cash but it wouldn't last long as she just wasn't into playing games.
@@PikaCheeks well i guess good for her if she not interest in it and gain sum thing and not spend money (if she not),but yeah this game is really good in the lore but how they exexcute it....yeah i hope mihoyo getting good with the pacing in the next update.
I dropped it for other games and comeback for a week every 3 or for 4 months. You should drop it when you feel burned out. The moment you feel a game is like a daily task you must do is when you're a goner.
@@g4bri3l. lucky u but ive been judged sm irl when they find out I play genshin or I tell them so THATS why I stopped telling ppl even if im close w them idk maybe it’s different for u bc ur older and ppl around u are more mature but not for me :/
I started playing at 2.1, raiden's release. Stopped in 2.7 due to boredom Came back in 3.0 for Sumeru Stopped in 3.5 for a few weeks Came back in 3.6 cuz new area And here I am waiting for Fontaine 😁 It's important to take breaks ❤
i started playing during the 3.5 patch and i like hearing my AR 60 friends talk about the old days because everything was simple and calming and nobody cried due to stuffy sumeru cave puzzles
I found Genshin in 1.0 from a mobile ad and was BLOWN AWAY that it was just like the ad’s. That intro cutscene made by jaw drop. Nowadays I mostly play on pc since it cooks even my iPhone 13 Pro lol
I tried it out on the recommendation of a friend who liked anime with me. Thought it'd be the typical shitty, scammy mobile game, but as I played I was like "omg this is actually a full game with a pretty intriguing story!" lol. Was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one
I lost a lot of motivation around 2.6, then started playing more again from 3.0 to 3.4 and leave it again. Now I'm playing a bit again because of the event, but it's not the same
@@shyboysaad I honestly don’t know how you still have energy to but fair enough. I still love the game but I’ve been burnt out and I have also been playing since day 1.
@@hanifali1216same, even though I only play casually and for fun only, somehow I still managed to get brunt out, probably because inazuma's archon quest that dropped my expectations for its story, but at least sumeru cooked something good, but at that time I'm just too tired for everything and decided to take a rest for awhile. Now I returned, I do enjoy the game, but this isn't the same anymore 😕
I abandoned genshin back on version 1.3 and I'm always in great shock when they show me what's new, but I don't regret that I quit.I immediately realized that there was nothing in the game .
i started playing genshin in 2021, took a break for like 2 years?(in late 2022, when heizou came out) and oml the game feels so different, all these new characters, heizou is the last character i remember. I feel so behind in the story quests and everything
Had a lot of memories. But at the end of the day, no one stayed. And now, it's just me and my characters... I hope I could go back, not to change anything, rather, but to feel few things twice...
As a returning player, I can assure you that this game is still incredibly amazing. The amount of content o have to play through and the amount of things I can go out and explore is so much fun. I know the Great Wall of it being a mobile game is just around the corner for me as soon as I complete the story up to current patch, but even still, I have so much time to save and collect primos for characters, and even more so now that I’m an adult, I can spend my hard earned cash that I don’t have need for, on banners and the like.
Woooow impressive amazing outshining wonderful absolutely splendid you're such a rare breed omg i wish everyone was like you wow commitment 😍👁️☹️😊💔🤭🥺😏👍👁️😛👁️😋💀😏🙂✊🙂😩🙂❤️
i just realized today that I have play genshin for 2 years and dang now I have 15 5* characters if you include aloy and traveler and 4 5* weapons. how time flies....
Sounds about right, I slowed down when Klee's first event released, then recovered after Inazuma was released then just progressed normally to Sumeru but slowed down again when the desert was released after I finished the main quests and now I'm enjoying it again with Furina being released.
As someone who started in 1.6,I actually don’t feel burn out at all, I had a phase when I felt burn out tho it was when the desert regions got released,I didn’t enjoy exploring the desert AT ALL and adding 3 updates with new desert maps just made me feel unmotivated to actually play the game, but ever since I started playing, I LOVED Fontaine and was super excited for it,so now not only I’m relieved that the endless desert updates are over, but my favorite nation finally got added in the game and I finally feel like I actually like playing this game and that I’m not playing it just to do my dailies, spend resin and log off
I’ve been playing since like a month after genshin released and I’m pretty close to having every character 😭 I still love genshin tho, not rlly burned out
I started on Genshin on its release! I’ve taken many breaks thought so I’ve always missed the nations coming out, at least this time I’ll be here for Fontaine 😌
Recently I finished everything there is to do in the game from quests, exploration, teapot, tcg, fishing, and achievements. I went to watch some of these types of videos and honestly I kinda want to tear up.
I started at 1.1 got hooked by The GEO CEO, and then I quit after 4 weeks grinding to get c0. I came back at 3.4 and got ayaya and yoimiya, so I am planning to pull for Yelan
The archon quests were good.. but fontaine is currently the best story wise and even adventure wise, it's just more beautiful, underwater swimming is cool, boss fights are easy, everything about fontaine is good
Been here since 1.0 (October 3rd, I was a week behind), and have missed only one day... because my PlayStation was in for repairs. It became a habit a long time ago.
@@sonadowfiend it's becoming an addiction for me, i still get good grades but it takes a toll on my health to skip sleep to play and still do school work. I really need to mange my time...
@@Soy_boy-by8ez Oh, I'm in my 30s and out of college for over a decade. Thank goodness I'm not trying to juggle this game around studying and writing papers!
Ive been playing since the game came out and main sucrose ,i don't get why people get burn out this game isn't menat to be played 24/7 just play 1)2 an hour daily and thats it go to the gym get a job or a hobby do something else hell even play other games lol
