Also SIGNIFICANTLY higher stats. You'll be shooting from further away while having a much easier time landing shots because of the high stability. Downside to Battler is no heal clip
I have a crafted adhortative but I really want to get a good Darkest Before simply because it doesn’t look like it was shit on with leaves smeared on afterward.
My absolute biggest gripe with adhortative... lol and especially those white tubes that no matter what coat of paint you put in the weapon they always stay white.
Im actually excited to enhance my keep away tremors battle scar and another good lightweight, the chattering bone will be a monster when you get kill clip rolling with tremors after the buffs
Only issue I have with Darkest Before is the reload speed if you are trying to proc Heal Clip in a pinch. It's like 2.1 seconds on a partially full mag without a reload speed masterwork or flared magwell. It can only get up to 1.72 seconds with both Flared and Reload MW (my roll doesn't have either, so stuck on 2.1 seconds...) Adhortative is a 1.66 seconds with both, craftable, and has an amazing pve perk (Nano Munitions). I've got over 10k kills on my Heliocentric as well, but unfortunately it's really short range. It's the weapon I've been using for every solar build though because of the fast reload at 1.48 seconds with just a Reload MW (1.34 seconds including Flared Magwell but I don't have that roll 😢) I'll be sticking with Adhortative unless Rapids get more stats, or I can find a better heal clip incan weapon in TFS.
@@itznovacaine4565 I wouldn't say it's op, as you want Flared Magwell or Light Mag for faster reloads period. The reason Alloy mag doesn't work as well is you'll want to reload in a pinch when you get a kill, if you're low health, to proc that Heal Clip. Normally, that would mean you don't finish your whole entire mag exactly, so you're not really getting any benefits to the Alloy Mag. It isn't bad though, keep it until you get a better one!
Just realized I tossed this exact roll on a jurassic green in my vault for a rainy day, and it even has the field tested origin trait. Looks like I did myself a favor with that one. Shame that I don't think jursssic made the cut for enhabcable perks though, unfortunately
Scorch damage is affected by buffs to the damage source but not the base damage of the damage source, except by damage type (confusing, I know). All of which is to say, scorch damage shouldn’t change from these buffs, as the base damage is changing, it’s not applying a buff, and it’ll still be primary weapon damage.
i wanna see an outbreak video now that rewind bumps its performance so much. optimal dps environment and 'meta' strats for outbreak if you actually go for it
This is the last weekend for Igneous Hammer... I'm gonna spend my time doing that. BxR and Luna's Howl will be good enough, and let's be honest, we're just gonna be using Sunshot if we need solar add clear primaries anyway.
@@Avixy It was in the TWID a few weeks ago. Last weekend was final Messenger, this weekend is final Igneous Hammer. They always put a notice towards the end of the season when weapons are leaving rotations for Nightfall, Trials, and Iron Banner.
@@Narfwak i keep up with twids i don’t recall them saying this do you know which one it was? I’ll take a look to see if i can find it (edit) you’re right it i found it i must’ve overlooked it
There are 3 armor pieces and 2 weapons in the loot pool at the boss. You have a 1 in 5 chance of getting the gun. There are 6 different perks in each of the 2 columns that matter. 5*6*6=180. You have a 1 in 180 chance of getting a good roll per attempt. Another way of putting that is that you have a 99.4% chance of NOT getting it each run. 99.4^125= 50%, so to have a 50% chance you'd need 125 runs. At 2 min per run (this is extremely generous) it would take 4 hours, just to give yourself 50/50 odds. Probably more like 8 hours because 3 min+1 min to reload in is more realistic. To give yourself a 75% chance you'd need to do 250 runs. And you'd still have a 25% chance of NOT getting it lol. Or you could just craft the one at riven and do slightly less damage but be done right now. Just saying...
BXR for demo/incan and Adhortative for healclip/incan, i’ve done enough prophecy to warrant not wanting to grind it again for a slight increase, plus adhorative’s origin trait combos with the benevolence/healclip
1 for all is a nasty perk. Especially with a fast firing pulse. 3 shots on 3 targets gives you 35% damage buff for 10 dlseconds? Thats a huge damage buff, without even having g to get a kill.
thank you, this was a superb, very informative video. Question: wouldn't backup mag be a bad choice when using reload perks like heal clip? if emptying the mag is the goal to take advantage of healclip + the scalar, I'd imagine any other mod would be better, maybe counterbalance.
Got a Darkest Before with Heal Clip + Surplus. Missing incan seems bad, but surplus will super charge the handling and reload to 100 each if i keep abilities. Plus not a bad roll for both PVE + PVP
If you kept a jurrassic green from this past halloween event, it gets field tested, and has the same perks. Pretty solid with arrowhead. Been using it when I wanted to use a pulse this season. Probably grab a voltshot oversoul edict as well, if you haven't already.
Genuinely excited to see how Chattering Bone performs with kinetic tremors once this patch hits! By far my favourite legendary pulse. Will certainly be looking to try it potentially in combination with Prismatic for that easy transcendence.
Got a role with elemental capacitor & one for all and it's so good. It reloads super fast on solar and with one for all it shreds ads can't imagine what it'll be like with a 38% buff
Can you just grab a checkpoint or does Prophecy still have that thing where some stuff only drops from the boss if you've cleared the earlier encounters?
I solo'd and got Wellspring + Incandescent on the first run, and...yeah, with all the other weapons I have to try to farm for (e.g. heal clip + incandescent Luna's), I think I'm opting out lol. Not a long dungeon even as a solo player, though.
Any thoughts on blunt execution rounds on BXR? I like to use it as a mini pocket shotgun, but it also works with ranged melees so you can also use it from a distance too.
Landed one in like under 20 runs, Heal, Incan, Flared Mag, Poly/Extended Barrel, Stability MW. Not 5/5 but mooooore than good enough. Bring on Final Shape!
Darkness Before is good. But BXR and Adhortative being easily craftable and using the same element type just means there is less reason to grind Darkness till your eyes bleed. I can live with them being slightly inferior (obviously looks).
Bungie mentioned some changes to weapon mods coming, and we already know the spec mods are being removed, so it makes me think they might be giving us more or changing the current ones to make up for it.
I was working on my solo run of this yesterday and if you walk off the platforms in the echo fight before jumping to the next it will instakill you 💯 I had to get off the game because I had gotten the boss down to nothing and it tp me, while I was running to get his ass I just randomly died at full health so that was fun
Farming a whole dungeon is crazy but I just beat this with one other person without any of the weapons mentioned or celestial nighthawk. Didn’t even think to use the golden gun
I mamaged to get an elemental capacitor + incan roll whilst running the other week and since I'm always gonna use it on solar it has 100 reload so that'll do!
Why do you think the results of your testing are different from the charts posted by MossyMax? Specifically SMG being best vs bosses, Mossy's charts show that HCs are much better than SMGs
Dads rejoice. And Curex2 or Curex1 and Ember of Benevolence is the real deal, gets you back to pre-Ability Nerf meta, you just have to build into it (probably the intention all along)
You can Craft a Different Times pulse with Stats for All/Heating Up and Hatchling. It should put in serious work after the update. NO heal clip but hatchling on this archetype is gonna get nutty
For zero hour, can I just wait until all the perks are out and then just do one run of the mission to get multiple perks at once? And also how many perks are there in total?
No. You have to do a normal completion first to get the quests for the perks. Then in legend you need to flip 3 sets of 2 switches in total after next reset. To get all other things like barrel, magazine and grip, you need to shoot 3 things with outbreak in 3 different areas and solve a puzzle 3 times in the vault room. But that part can be done in normal. If you collected all switches and puzzles already, then 1 legend clear is enough to get everything you need
has this pulse always been in the loot pool since the update for prophecy loot ? I swear I did Kell like 50 times last time it was DOTW and I never got one dropped tf lol
sure, adhortative is a little worse, but it has better base reload and handling stats and is craftable. On the other hand, farming dungeon weapons is horrible. So the question is, is it worth spending so much time chasing a dungeon drop, when there is an alternative not much worse? It is a different story for boss DPS weapons (e.g. edge transit), but IMO for primaries it doesn't matter that much. Also, incandescent is overrated.
I’ve been loving the content, really have. The title of this video does not settle well with me. Creating FOMO, why? The weapon is not going anywhere. That all, love your info!
