A truly wonderful reaction. Please wear headphones with every Angelina performance, it makes a world of difference. You mentioned how today's music uses digital to create sounds. Auto Tune is another device used to perfect the voice. Angelina doesn't need any devices except a guitar or a piano and a mic to create beautiful music. That is because she is not just a singer, Angelina is a true artist in every sense of the word. She arranged and delivered this performance and directed the video. She paints and creates many of her own clothes. This comes from her grandma Mery Zamani, a prodigy herself as a well known artist and poet. The vintage furniture store represents the glamour of the time this song was written and ,imo, the elegance of Angelina. Looking forward to the NGT reactions.......with headphones, LOL Glad to hear your life is good with your family because that is the most important thing in our lives! Take care

This young lady is a vocal chameleon. Every time she brings tears in my eyes cause it is so beautiful. Angelina Jordan ASTAR (the name says it all), this young norwegian genius is imo the best singer on the planet! I am 69 y old and have never heard a singer like her in my whole life.

Perfectly reviewed. The level of perfection in this performance seems to escape the attention of many. It is so mutch sophistication and musicality in this performance, it just blows my mind. A Jazz musician I saw react to this stated something like this: "it's like she takes the best parts of every world class jazz simger that's ever existed, and mounds it all into this mind blowing performance. This is the best I've ever heard her yet." I second that, and all your comme to as well. 👍

Excellent reaction! Have anyone notice how much she's admirering the antique furnitures and chandeliers. It's like she now feels right at home. She remembers the same furnitures from her past life and now wants to purchase some for her present time home. Angelina gives me that erie "twilight Zone" or "Benjamin Britton" vibe. "Chills!!! It's like she came from the past to sing the way it suppose to be sung. Past or present, Angelina is one of the best singers on this planet!

This is my 112th time listening to this MASTERPIECE and each time I experience a new level of perfection by our ethereal prodigy extraordinaire, Angelina Jordan. When you listen to the A cappella portions of this performance at the very end of the song you are truly experiencing the genius of Angelina Jordan’s PERFECT PITCH. Sinatra, rest in peace Angelina Jordan, the Bare Foot Queen has taken the crown and there is nothing like her in the universe. When I first heard her perform this I put it on pause and brought up Sinatra, Bublé, Streisand, Fitzgerald and Vaughan's version of this song to compare it to AJ version, and none of them moved me like this version. It is so hard to comprehend that Angelina from 7 to 16 is the greatest story telling being in my 74 years of experiencing great vocalist and I can't wait for the rest of the story.

Larry, I did the same thing. I had heard all the legendary versions over the years because I love this song. But when I heard this, it sounded like the best version I had ever heard. Just to be sure, I re-listened to many of the most notable versions & none of them were even close. It's STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!!

"I am so glad I chose to wear my headphones to do this reaction." There is no singer I've ever listened to where wearing headphones is as important as it is with Angelina. I noticed this very early on when I started to listen to her. Her voice is so rich and her performances are so nuanced and textured that without headphones you can be listening to her but not really hearing her. If a reactor is not wearing headphones when listening to her I question if they really understand how good she is.

I find it difficult to not become emotionally involved when she sings. Angelina's ability to just reach some part of my soul every time I hear her voice has given me hope on a regular basis. when you go through the NORWAYS GOT TALENT videos and you get to her finale performance of "SUMMERTIME", there is another video of her and 2 gentlemen in a room rehearsing the song. please find this video and you will see how in command Angelina was of her musical performances even at such a young age. the musician is trying to find her key and the beginning notes for the song. Angelina makes the sound with her mouth that she wants, and when her final performance starts, that is what you hear from the musician !!! throughout her performances over the years, during rehearsals Angelina is well known for correcting the musicians or changing the arrangements for the music. she has done this for years even at a very young age. if you noticed in the first video you watched, "I Put A Spell On You", you see Angelina making notes and you will see the music director looking at them and kind of laughing. also that is why when Angelina does her covers, she arranges the songs the way she wants to do them, her covers always sound so unique !!!!!!

She can do about anything with her voice and each time I think she cannot get better, she just does and with bounds and leaps. As I understand the female voice does not fully mature until mid twenties. So she has a decade of raw growth ahead however incomprehensible that seems to me. She uses all of it to make wonderful performances: I do not get the impression she is out to impress us with her abilities, though of course she does. I can listen to this song again and again and again, it just so beautiful, relaxing and soothing. Wearing a headphone (or good audio in general) makes it so much better indeed :-) She is working on a new album, so I hope it will be ready soon, at least when she and the whole team is satisfied with it.

Angelina released one album, "It's Magic", as an independent artist. It is jazz at it's very best and has been among the top selling jazz albums since it was released. I encourage everyone to purchase it (I bought two copies to leave one unopened) on Amazon or I-Tunes. Angelina Jordan is here to inspire us to be the best we can. To appreciate life, the beauty around us, and of course music. I listen to her every day because it warms my heart to know Angelina's life's goal is to bring peace and love to the world through her music. I want to pay it forward, and my passion is to support and promote her so that she will be able to use her platform to heal our world, quite a noble cause. You did a wonderful job highlighting Angelina, but consider the next step. Your viewers generally do not know how to support you or the artist! You should encourage them to watch, like, and comment on the original video and subscribe to the artist's channels with links you provide. If reactors and fans cooperate, Angelina and other young artists will receive deserved credit, and your channel will experience more fan loyalty and subscriptions. Awesome reaction, thanks so much for sharing! 💖 You said you were new at this so im gonna be so bold and give you a suggestion - When you pause the video to talk, try to find a 'good' place to pause. Its also common and a good idea to skip a few seconds back in the video after a pause. Left and right arrow keys skips 5 seconds back or forth. Many reactors also replays parts that they just commented on to get their point across, or just to hear something they liked again. These are just suggestions, you are doing great, keep going! 🌹

Great reaction , her voice is outstanding she’s undoubtedly one of the greatest singers of our time. Her and grandma are probably out shopping in this, I dont know about her home in LA but their home in Norway is loaded with chandeliers, period furniture, persion rugs and a massive marble staircase. The Astar family is a very connected and well to-do family in Norway due to the fact that her grandmother is Mery Zamani aka Mosarz world renowned poet and artist. Mery has instilled in Angelina two very important things, the love of Jazz and her humanitarianism, Mery for years had held art exhibits all over the world raising money for different charities, Angelina as well has held concerts and shows all over the world raising millions for different charities and causes. It amazes me how the Astar family disrupted their life in Norway to accommodate Angelina and uncle Mike, not only mom but grandma also moved to support her and Mike, this family is truly close knit. They certainly didn’t move to the States monetary reasons Angelina donated what she won on NGT to children’s charities and some of the proceeds from her book “ Between Two Hearts “ goes to charity. What truly amazing girl and family, her journey through childhood could be a movie ( Prodigy based on a true story)

After all the vocal coach reactions of Angelina I have seen, I am certain that every sound you hear is exactly what she wanted you to hear. In the past couple years she got a new microphone that catches every detail, presumably so we will miss nothing. I can only guess that she was disappointed to listen to recordings and hear they lost part of her voice.

Angelina issued in 2018 what is largely a jazz album (performed when she was 12yo). Go purchase it! Don't be put off by her age. It is very well done (what else would we expect from her)! You have the right comments all the way! She is a sort of anacronism, doing music from old times when you had to have a voice that could stand out, with Soul and feelings. But she brings the old music to a new level to fit contemporary music. And she can do any genre with her versatility. If you havent done it already, please react to «Im still holding out for you» at the age of 10. Then you will see what I am talking about.

She was invited by the Staff Band of the Norwegian Armed Forces to record an album for their 200th anniverery in 2018, "It's Magic". Seems to have become one of these unkillable classics, it's still regularly popping up in the Jazz charts. And she has an older xmas EP "My christmas".

So many reactors try to analyze her voice without headphones. No, headphones are needed as they increase what we hear by probably 30%, so much difference in clarity, depth, brilliance, and detail. And they should be the good quality. Try to enjoy or analyze her voice without headphones only provides a fraction of her delivery. Good reaction. So many songs of hers to go, each one more amazing than the last.

All her performances seem effortless but for me, this is so visible in It's a man's world. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tGXnodBLyUg.html she sings it like no big deal (I would suggest keeping your eyes on the musicians in the first row; they seem proud to play for her and on the conductor after she belts). If you would like an album of this type of music, Angelina released an album a few years ago called it's Magic! It is an album full of classic jazz songs that she performed between the ages of 8 and 12 approximately. It is available on Spotify and other digital media. Even not long ago it has ranked in the top 100 all time jazz albums on pop vortex.

Hi Vand3rHorst, another graet reaction to one of the greatest songs - thanks a billion! I hop you are not bothered when I say some pleas: Could you in the next reactions please play ther video till the end? ..and if you pause may be rewind (e.g. with the cursor-left-key) 5 seconds befor you play the rest: There are some phrases you should hear continuously like the phrase starting at 5:26 you paused at 5:30. You said some very interesting things in this pause but the next part of the phrase starts not until 7:10 so I think the correlation is lost for you and most listeners ;-) ...if you listen to this part without interuption you will agree, I'm sure :-D Oh - and another little plea: It would help Angelina - and I think you would like to help her - if you put the link to her video you reacted to and may be also to her web-site, YT channels,... in the description. Her mom Sara is very careful as to how she wants Angelina depicted in videos. Her, she fully realizes that Angelina looks like a 'sultry' singer because of her 'Persian Princess' looks that are mesmerizing , so she separates the visuals from the vocals using an overdubbing process. In this way, the adult sounding voice is kept separate from what the viewers see as a young, teenage girl 'daydreaming' as she meanders through an antique furnishings store.
