@@isaiahthomas4444how tf is that a diss to either? what duncan did on defense, jokic does on offense. duncan is a goat and so is jokic and it couldn't be more clear atp. tim duncan is one of my favorite players also so theres no bias here
The nuggets have the most complete team in basketball rn. Great defence. A Legitimate SF which I’m rarely seeing nowadays but MPJ is no joke ppl fr. If that man didn’t start his career w injuries we’d be talking about how good he is a lot more. Then a legitimate PG who is a scoring threat inside and out and doesn’t shy away from competing. A stretch 4 that shoots , defends AND posts up while also having insane bounce for lobs An mvp Center that does every thing requires of an MVP. And a bench that is only missing a little spark but have amazing hustle and can all shoot.
@@ProdByCAV0the weird thing is that theres games were he suddenly can shoot idk what it is like not spot ups but like reset stepback on the left wing 3s or pull ups and ik bro shoots like 30%
@@LOSREAPER15 he’s not the best shooter. But he can shoot . He stretches the floor Cus he can hit the mid range and the long ball but not only that , he can make plays from outside the perimeter. Maybe that’s not a stretch to you guys but that is to me.
@@banaynay5844nobody except Luka and Kyrie made a 3. Then you have last night against Sac where they made 22 3s. The nuggets game was FAR from a perfect game for the mavs.
Nuggets just spent 10 years building a roster and culture around playing basketball the most efficient, clean way and just so happened to get arguably the greatest offensive hub of all time.
My man is waffling like crazy. The Mavs couldn't hit the basket if it killed them. It was easily one of their worst shooting games and they still won. Stop coping. The Nuggets are hella good but the Mavs are close as well
@@Claviceptic one of… Kyries was arguably the best of all time. Over the best player in the league. Nobody on OKCs roster has ever been near “best in the league”
@@NOZ_official8th best defense since the trade deadline, including a 6 game stretch in which they had a 124 defensive rating. This team is completely different than they were before
I saw the “best” team in the west get praised the whole game get beat by the Mavs that got pretty much berated the whole game. Now that the Mavs have a good enough bench, and a couple really good bigs that we can rotate, they are playing like the best team in the league. I just hope Luka and Kyrie can stay healthy.
His logic is one sided, he didn't just shoot bad on his own and was wide open. The mavs have the bigs with quick feet and size to defend him making him shoot bad. Jokic said himself after the game "they are bigger than us"
Jokic not shooting well isn’t just Jokic not shooting well. Mavs didn’t allow the Nuggets to get to their preferred actions. Those 2 centers bothered Jokic like how they bothered Sabonis. Jokic said it, they’re bigger.
I’ll never understand the Mavs hate on this podcast they’ve literally had a defensive rating of 98.06 since January when gafford and pj was traded here and yall still say mavs can’t guard lmao.
Also Kyre stepped on the line before that game winner and Jamal terrible decision before that he could just run down the clock it was less then second difference but he shoot 10 seconds before
I actually think the only way you beat the Nuggets in a playoff series is to use one of your rotation players to deliberately injure Jokic in game 1 and take him out of the series. I am not saying anyone should do that, I just think it's the only way.
See but this is why I want the mavs to win it all, not even a mavs fan like that but the performances required to win mixed with how fun that team is would make a LEGENDARY run. Wed get to watch two wizards perform actually sorcery
If the Mavs played perfect then Denver would have lost by 20+. The Mavs couldn’t hit a three even though they are at the top in terms of shooting the three in the league. The Mavs are a scary threat and people are only just seeing it but I’ve been preaching this allllllll year
So why were they down to begin the 4th then? You can either say the Nuggets played good defense or the other team starting missing shots. Either way, you have to take the end results as just that.
You don’t have to play perfect tho if you have the right roster. 2 of the Celtics worst games of the year came against the nuggets and they lost by a combined like 7 pts
Mavs role players shot like 0/15 from 3. They hit even 4-5 of those that game wouldn't even be close. It was nothing near a perfect game for the Mavs in terms of shooting.
The Mavs played a terrible game and were still up by a good chunk in the 4th. Everyone being hesitant in saying it but if the mavericks have everyone healthy they are THE FAVORITES to come out of the west. Laugh if you want just please revisit this in June 😂
@javongreen2515 Please explain the logic behind that theory. It's the same players, the same teams playing against each other. How they play each other in the regular season should be a good indicator for the match ups. NOT sure why one would think it's going to be the exact opposite in the playoffs for some reason.
The mavs shot terrible that’s why they got so many rebounds and kyrie and Luka were the only ones who made threes and both of them didn’t even shoot well 39% from the field isn’t good so why he acting like the mavs shot so well and played excellent defense and the nuggets had their worst game but only lost by 2 when in reality both teams didn’t play well offensively because it was an off night for the stars and both teams played well defensively
1st of all it's a game of runs and Luka didn't play well either funny how you guys didn't mention the Mavs run before that but Mavs will see you again No Excuses NXT Time.. By the way the just lost to Pnx too. Did they play a perfect game..😮
The mavs didn’t play close to perfect 😂 not a single player outside of Luka and kyrie on the mavs hit a 3. lol they shot 23% from deep as a team. Tf outta here.
Jokic didn't play well because he was guarded well by a young rookie. Plus the Mavs were horrible and did not have the 3 ball falling at all for them in that game.
Ha ha ha... the Mavs weren't perfect in this game.... they just always bother Denver.... so don't make people think Denver is really strong cos they're not.... what a bad take....
I have listen to a fair share of sports podcast and more times then not a time comes when they show their lack of reason and unbiased perspectives. Winding up sounding like a soundbite coupled with click bait. You guys are refreshing and gifted. The questions, insight, uniqueness is an anomaly. Your group seems like the type you could see in a barbershop, stoop, long distance train ride or even in the middle of a party in vip section and a bball debate/dialogue breaks out. I really hope all get momentum of success strong enough to take a tour and ppl can experience you guys live. Kudos to the crew PS - that video with oh boy eating the "Twix" during debate was so relatable and comedic 😂
