I think that family shows affection. People show affection in different ways and it’s hard to get a picture from a 4 minute video. When my annoying little brother pissed me off, I didn’t want to hug him right after either. That doesn’t mean she’s not affectionate and that doesn’t mean the family doesn’t normally show a lot of affection. That’s just called a big sister - little brother relationship.

She wasn't wrong in telling them to question things. If somebody didn't question the idea that the world was flat we would not believe it was round today. The basis of academia is questioning and investigating.

While I don't agree with what she thinks i do think its good to teach kids to question things and find out why. Dont just tell your kid the sky is blue because it is, ask them why they think it is and then look it up with them so they can see if they were right.

Questioning information is good, but for the sake of a well-rounded judgement. You need to know how to critically analyse information. If questioning things leads you to end up rejecting strong evidence and develop a confirmation bias, you're pretty much back to square one of not thinking for yourself.

As far as I know RESEARCH has not proved it. Most people who argue the Earth is round is doing so based on photos they've seen of it, provided by NASA. But, did you know that those pictures are not real pictures? Go to the NASA website and find pictures of our planet. In small print somewhere on the page, you will find a disclaimer saying that the photos are an "artist's rendition" or something like that. Sorry, but pictures do not research make. Oh, and "video" from the ISS showing the "curvature" of the Earth can be faked. One last thing, you might want to do some research into the Bible's account of how God created the heavens and the earth. You might be surprised.
