My shop coworkers think I’m weird because I enjoy watching videos like these lol. Especially Milwaukee videos. I borrowed 1 Milwaukee took a few years ago. Now I have like 10 or more . 😂
No joke this is my story aswell was on a job site drilling holes with the ryobi drill my boss supplied and it kept stalling and one of the other companies guys that were also helping out on the job offered to let me use his Milwaukee 😂 and I nvr looked back just got my m12 drill and impact combo set and now I’m looking into investing into the hammer drill for those holes 💯👍🏾

All it took was for me to get my hands on a Milwaukee electric ratchet back in 2017 and I was hooked. Ever since if I've needed an electric tool it's been a Milwaukee
@@TheAnointedOne72767 is the older model. Mine works great, no need to upgrade. It’s a bit abusive, but I can usually remove 33mm lug nuts torqued to 475 ft-lb and with a fresh battery the torque wrench clicks at 475 almost every time when I use it to put them on
I’m currently saving up for this, a 3/8 mid torque, and a 1/2 drill in M18 and the right angle 3/8 and the 3/8 drill in M12. I’m running the MAC high torque now. It’s decent but honestly it’s just a Dewalt that’s oil resistant and isn’t as powerful as the Milwaukee
@@Enrightauto Home Depot has a killer deal on a 1/2 mid torque and the 1/2 drill rn. 200 bucks for a drill teo xc6 batteries and a charger. 250 fir the 1/2 impact kit.
What socket? A lot of people dont know this but quality of socket makes a big difference. Heavier ones like snap on throw more weight and make life easier
Honestly there are better brands for basic sockets snap on sockets aren't that heavy, if you are looking for a naturally heavy socket not a specific type like a weighted socket. When I get to work tomorrow I can reply with a example. My brain has forgotten the brands in my box ig haha.
I’ve got the half inch. And there ain’t nothing on my semi or my trailers that it won’t break loose. If it won’t come off it’s gotta get cut off point blank. I will have the 1” drive for my bday
Dewalt DCF961 produces more torque but this Milwaukee is lightweight and compact while making more torque than the Dewalt DCF900 when paired with Milwaukees new forge batteries, it’s impressive.
@@salvadoravalos2968dewalt size and weight is actually a 3/4" disguised in 1/2" they might make a d-handle 1/2" just to beat the competition. While milwaukee 2967 is getting closer to the size of a midtorque.
That's nice but I've had the cv rusted to the bearing so bad that glowing yellow and a 10 ton wouldn't budge it. Slag it out with a torch and fire the parts cannon
Milwaukee impacts don't give a shit! I place my hand on the backside of the impact instead of the socket! godforbid... we as techs and mechanics need our hands. right?
Does it really matter where he puts his hand? When swollen nuts get stuck in my socket I hold the socket tight and pull the trigger. It spins but when it impacts it throws the nut out. (Sometimes) Same impact as in the video lol.
the issue is if anything happens to the socket, such as a crack or fracture to the outside wall.. your hand will be gripping the socket and you will not react quick enough to stop the metal from slicing your hand, God only knows what rpm that impact was moving at.
@@aleclenzen8347😊 it can yank your wrist pretty good if you're not watching it I hold the battery like a lever if it's really getting the beans. I've seen a 1 inch impact bout knock a guy out once 😂
If its stuck good enough them milwaukee high torques will just break the axle right off. Them milwaukees are arm twisters for sure thats a serious tool. Its either coming off or breaking
@andries4561 so far I've not seen any electric gun do anything an equal size pneumatic can do. Pneumatic seems to always win for the examples I've seen. Plus the electric guns usually weigh more than composite pneumatic impact guns. Little stuff electric is great, but HD stuff, I'll stick to air.
Hey enjoy hauling that air compressor to your aunts house to help her with her car. Lol fr tho they all their own uses. And good for different things. You can put a battery impact in so many more places. But can't ever beat the power of air. I prefer battery strictly on air line placements at my shop.

As someone with two 2967, like 20 2767, and already nine forge batts. This isn't special to Milwaukee, any 1/2 battery impact from any reputable brand will do this. With that said, Milwaukee is just better built and has a pretty sweat warranty. Though the new Hercules stuff from HF has over the counter lifetime warranty, I have a 2967 and a Hercules ultra tourqe in my tool box. Hercules is my loaner 1/2, but, it still rips of 550 ft pound lug nuts like they're nothing
Milwaukee is such junk.. Have of it doesn't work straight out of the package.. I used to buy Milwaukee and after getting sick of all the problems I tried Makita XGT 40V and now would not ever want to use a Milwaukee again.
