However, what I am really hoping for is what Trump plans to do for improving maternal health care (as well as having better environmental policies - like be creative, find other ways for us to get our own energy without harming the planet, or at least compromise, like make an effort - and protections for minorities facing injustice as well) because that would really solve much of the abortion issues by decreasing abortion rates dramatically. Also, 18 weeks does sound more than reasonable - under the condition that women will have greater and easier access to trusted quality doctors (before pregnancy has progressed too far, of course. Keeping it within those 18 weeks and have the three exceptions) Anyways, that’s what I really want to see from Trump. If he does that (including the stuff in parentheses), I’ll vote for him in a heartbeat! And you can count on it!

It's not the only option, but for some, it's a resort they have been given. I fully support and pray for those women that decide to carry their babies even though they are so scared.

The Dobbs decision ruled that the federal government doesn’t have the authority to make the decision. A national ban would be an overstep of federal authority. I’m very much anti abortion, but the constitution is very clear in saying that any power not granted to the federal government is reserved for the states and the people.
