You Know NOTHING About Rengoku.. 

I’d say Rengoku’s repeated encounters with wolves is to show him as a sheepdog, fighting to protect the weak (people/sheep) who can’t protect themselves from the wolves/demons.

All Might: "I want to protect and save people, so that they know someone is out there who will save them, and I want to do it with a smile." Rengoku: "Hold my bento boxes"

Watched this arc with my twin 6yr old daughters. when he died, the younger of the two cried so hard for like 20min like someone she knew irl died. Her sister did everything she could to console her that it ended up making her bawl her eyes out too. It was the cutest thing EVER

Rengoku was a great character and we should all adopt what he stood for …. Rest In Peace

Rengoku, honestly, is what I aspire to be. As a psychology student, they teach us that we are studying to help people, to strenghten them, to allow them to find themselves and their path. I read the entirety of Demon Slayer as it was coming out, but the one character that always stood to me, the one character I related to was him. A person who chooses to empower those around him, a person who chooses to help, a person who is willing to give, a person who finds joy when others are saved. That is who I want to be. That is what I am studying for.

I absolutely loved this vid. Alotta people downplay Rengoku and supplement their argument with "he died". In terms of potential I believe he is a clear #2 because as much of a Rengoku fan boy that I am I believe Muiichiro's potential is in its own class. But that doesn't lessen Rengokus potential even one bit, and the mere fact that he had to teach himself flame breathing speaks volumes to his strength. The fact that he died fighting solo against Upper Moon 3 is pretty much a badge of honor, not to mention akazas constant praise of his abilities. This man was truly a legend, till his final moments, with that final gentle smile knowing he did all he could to live up to his own values just cements what an absolutely great man he was.

There's not many deaths in shows movies anime etc that make me cry or even just emotional but even with the short time we got with rengoku I shed tears. The message that he gives at the end was extremely powerful he will definitely be a remembered character for a long time

Demon Slayer I'd say doesn't get enough love! To be honest Rengoku passion for what he does is something that never got old even for the little screen time he actually had. It was sad when his character died, but the impact was definitely felt while he was here! Definitely A dope video though! Thank you for the work and effort you put into these videos!

This is seen with Hairo’s flashback where he and others wear the turquoise haori that the Shinsengumi wear

It’s sad to think about, but Shinjuro wasn’t wrong about Kyojuro being the last flame Hashira… The defeat of Muzan eventually led to the disbandment of the Hashira, therefore Kyojuro died as the final flame pillar

Rengoku is also similar to Nana Shimura (Mha).I mean you know what she said to Toshinori/All might "Those who smile are the strongest" how wholesome~🤗🤗 To be honest I really like Rengoku's character,he's so bright and shiny LMAO.Even when I rewatched the episode where they first met Tanjiro and Nezuko,he was talking about killing Nezuko while smiling so brightly and talking really loud. My favorite character here is actually Shinobu so far,after rewatching and rewatching how she always smile and talk about torturing and killing demons painfully while having a smile is so damn badass,which is also similar to Rengoku though of course she has a very soft and mellow voice.I also really like Mitsuri,her specialty in being more agile and 8th times stronger than ave. humans is really cool for someone as sweet as her.How she handles her whip-like Nichirin blade is so amazing to look at that's why I'm really waiting for the animated Season 3 though I've already read the whole manga. Rengoku protected the weak because of several reasons: his dad was a hashira and saw his dad as a hero; he couldn't help his mom live; his dad completely lost his mind and treated him and his brother like crap; it was the most important lesson his mom ever taught him. After his mom died, he took on his mom's role and protected his brother from his dad. I'm sure his experience with the morbidity of demons finally set it in. Rengoku may have been the first hashira to die in our timeline of the series but he had a major role on Tanjiro the rest of the series. *Spoilers if you haven't finished the manga* Rengoku seems to pop into all of the hashira's minds when they're on the verge of dying, whether it happens or not. Considering Tanjiro used Yoriichi's blade and Rengoku's guard by the time he fought Muzan, he had the spirit of the original Sun & Fire Breather with him. In the end, he even beats the sunlight and doesn't let him affect him. In the end, look which hashira was first to push Tanjiro out of the grip of Muzan. It took two demon slayers with breathing based around heat to set up the strength and determination for the last one to kill him. Ironically, these three essentially had to learn their reapective breath styles on their own (Yoriichi created breathing styles but that's even more amazing). In the end, Muzan was ironically killed by nature rather than a weapon since the sun came up and burned him.

Something I dont think you mentioned with rengoku father is that after rengoku mother died and he took to drinking and stop teaching his sons is that he doesn't want them to become demon slayers. As a hasira he has seen many comrades fall in battle and after his wife died he couldn't stand the notion of seeing his sons go out in battle and dying so he discourage them from fighting and becomes distant in hopes they will leave the demon slayer corps.
