“I want your supervisor!” “I am the supervisor” “Uh I want your manager!” “I am the manager” “I want the owner!” “I am the owner” Now we are just waiting for Milad to become corporate so he can then go “I want the corporate number!” “You are talking to corporate”
haha, I owned a store when I was 18, I always got asked for the manager. This one women didn't believe me, I said I was the manager/owner etc and she said "I want to talk to someone higher up" I just replied: "I mean, I can call the landlord if you want but they won't help you" and for that, she wanted to make a complant about me and wanted to talk to my complaints department and get me sacked or whatever. I had like 3 employees including myself, she wanted to talk to someone 'out the back (in the office)' so I walked out there, walked back out and said "yes, I'm from out back" she walked out X'D
@Jay Yeah, they might've gotten help from their parents or other investors (we don't even know the type of store, it could've been a small off-brand located in the dumps store for all we know)... But that doesn't make the parents the owner, OP would still be the owner
I had a customer pull the, "get me your manager" when I was the owner. I put down the phone, went to the bathroom, and came back and said, "hello, how can I help you?" The person then said that other guy (me) was swearing and so rude and wouldn't let me speak to the manager. They then tried to get me fired from myself. I then said it was me they talked to and I canceled their order and blocked their account from my company. Miss those days sometimes.
i wish people would put in the same effort. the way you think about things is incredible. i worked at subway for a year, and its mostly a mess in germany nowadays. just need to see when you scoop the tomatoes, and you wait until some of the liquid has dripped off, so the burrito doesnt get mushy. the small details are what makes it for me. never change ♥
I worked and Wendy's for several years and the "entitled customers" were definitely the largest group. It's astounding how many people will pay 99 cents for a burger and feel like they're royalty, or like they own the place or something.
The Wendy’s I worked at made me quit, manager was psychotic as hell. Put her hands on me, broke code, even came into work for 13 days straight while having covid. She did some bull with my hours cutting one week and adding more to another bypassing overtime laws because it was right smackdab between payday. Worked for 11 days straight with 8 hour shifts and no overtime. After she put her hands on me I straight up just didn’t come in, she can do that paperwork.
This guy is the subway equivalent of the ender dragon: Such a boss, insane, but there is one big difference. Milard doesn’t drop xp when you kill him, he drops subway gold cards
@@realfarmer21 Your videos aren't bad, it's just that you self advertise. If you didn't self advertise I'd happily sub and watch. Like mbants, he didn't self advertise, he's just a funny guy, now he's working with the BBC, he's making moves. And not once did he self advertise on someone else's channel.
@@realfarmer21 You're channel/content looks kinda fun. Just do not self advertise. This is not an advertising space. Other than that, keep up the good work.
As someone that also works in the food industry; I can confirm that EVERY food store has increased their prices. The price of ingredients, especially meat, has gone up exponentially to the point we have to charge customers at least a dollar or two more than the original price. Please understand that it's not our fault and that food stores just don't want to shut down because of increased prices of ingredients.
It's a shame too because obviously COVID is somehow the reason for the inflation. At first, when noticing these higher prices I thought, " these companies just want to make up for the lost revenue during the pandemic!" In fact, I was slightly angry. However, I did finally realize that the cost of products (meat especially) was ridiculous and it's not necessarily an inflation just because of the lost revenue but simply the cost of the products have been raised. In lamens terms, the companies can either charge more or lose their business...it's not their fault.
Except it's a subway which is such a terribly managed franchise that subway's largest competition is THE OTHER SUBWAY a mile down the road. But they're ridiculously cheap to get into as far as franchises go. You can buy one for usually under $100k because after a few years people just want to get out
I know of a case where someone asked the owner to get the manager, obviously not knowing they were speaking to the owner. So the owner humored him and got the Manager. The customer demanded the manager fire the owner for a ton of stuff he made up on the spot simply because he wasn't getting his way. The manager responded, "I can't, he she owner." Would've loved to see the look on that guy's face when he realized how badly he screwed up.
You could install a standing mirror so that the next time an EC 'calls for the manager / owner', you can ask yourself in front of the mirror if 'he/she is available to talk'.
@@shadidmosharraf3033 because it’s a whole fictional scene that requires you to buy a mirror and put it nearby so asking visitor will see this "funny" for the owner show, also waste client's and own time.
Person: "hello? Can I speak to the owner?" Milad: "uhh I am the owner" Person: "wait i know that voice! High five Milad!" Milad: "uh what?" Person: "I love your videos! Pranked you but seriously keep up the good work!" Milad: "thanks. Would you like a free cookie?"
Most food places raised their prices because ingredients costs went up, employees are demanding higher pay, and some stores are open for fewer hours due to staffing issues
"Tell the owner to lower the prices" or "can I get x% taken off of this item" are the questions that make me wanna explode. I dont blame people for not knowing, but prices arent set by the facility owner, they're set as a standard nationwide and usually are adjusted alongside tax based on state/location. That's why when we say, "No sorry" or "I cant do that for ya" it's not our fault and asking to contact corporate will go nowhere, because you cant just contact corporate as only a few people have contact with them for obvious reasons, 95% of workers dont have ANY contact with corporate either so asking us to tell them also....goes nowhere.
This must only happen when it’s inside because we have a lobby at our store but we’re drive through only right now and this never happens. But it did when people would come in off the street.
My friends dad owed a subway back in the late 90's early 2000's (when subway was still giving out stamps) and it was funny to see customers do this to him all the time.
Google voice # for the win.. I was a store manager...I'd get customers demanding to know the manager's phone #...I'd give them my GV#.. I'd get the 'you're gonna be in so much trouble if you don't acquiesce to my insanely unreasonable demands' speech.... and I'd ask them not to call because the manager is busy...The look on their face as my phone rang...priceless.... the few times it took a minute for the customer to realize it wasn't a coincidence that my phone rang and they were literally on the phone with me while 10 feet apart, was epic. I'd already written off the customer so at that point it was just about having fun :D
Milad: makes ONE simple mistake on Karen’s sandwich Karen: YOU MESSED UP ON MY SUB, I KNOW THE OWNER OF THIS PLACE AND ILL GET YOU FIRED milad: Oh you know the owner? Well I don’t know who you are
Who else has a family member that when you go to get something they just say “ WOAA! These are really overpriced!” right in front of the employees. I get so embarrassed when my dad does this.
That is why you embarrass them and ask "Are you going blind? The prices are right there, am I going to have to start thinking about a retirement home already?"
And why are you so quick to express opinions online but feel embarrassed when your dad does it to peoples faces? If anything, ur dad is based and you are a coward.
@Alex Teretean Ok, when did this become an argument about being a coward? I was simply expressing the fact that my Dad and my grandfather both do this thing where they will (not complain) but like laugh at the prices and say “That much?!” Right in front of an employees face. Yes this is an opinion, but when was it decided that telling people about being embarrassed was being a coward?
@@solomonweirdo6535 you could just say "i think the price is fair dad" and would skip the whole embarrassement is all im saying. Standing up to yourself in the real world.
Why would I want to start conversation with somebody with an attitude? 80% of the time the person behind the counter looks like they want you to f*** off so I don't say s*** order my food and leave
Once I asked for a specific slice of cheese because the top ones were a different color and clearly old. And the subway worker looked me dead in the eye and said.. why it's the same. I had to explain that it was not the same and a personal preference for me. Sometimes they make it hard for no reason. I am always nice about it. So just give me the good looking cheese lol.
Dude. Thanks for the great content. I don't want to be one of the entitled folks, but I got a Cali Fresh sub with chips and a drink the other day from my local subway and it was just under $20. Absolute insanity.
@@richardvinsen2385 no he's not. He's RU-vid famous yes but he didn't put a third or buy out his parents. Basically he's just management. He feels entitled but behind the scenes his family probably forced him to work and he found a way to make to scraps of what he does. Think if it was u and ur family. Anyway milad keep being the bottom feeder ok
Lol they literally just ask who owns the store just to say they "know" them. Ever since people have been coming into my A&W store I've been non-stop having to explain that it doesn't matter if you know who the president of the corporation is. We all know him. We also know that he cannot and will not change things just for them.
I worked at the local pizza chain and the grandson of the deceased owner was working as the manager at one of the locations. Sure enough customer complained saying they were good friends of the owner and they would complain. He asked their name and replied: weird, I'm his grandson and I don't ever remember hearing them mention your name before.
Bro, I am a food-getter. I seriously love and respect the sht out of you food-makers though. Every time y’all make me lunch I want to tell you about the depths of the void you’re pulling me back from by literally making me a meal and relieving my hanger. Bless you and bless all of you food-makers. Love from your fellow food-getter.
Karen : I would like to speak to your manager Milad : I'm the manager, the slave, my store's toilet cleaner, human resource, and the owner. How can I help you?
I try to contact the owners when I receive good service, having worked retail and whatnot, I know that there are "those customers" so I think it's nice to say Hey you've got some good people there. I know it's not much but hey maybe making someone's day is never a bad thing right?
"The world is your oyster." The phrase these entitled people take to heart when it comes to being a nuisance for the sake of it. It's so obvious that these people have little-to-no regard for others, and I'd bet their motto is "Getting things for free makes me smart." If the world wasn't in such a bountiful state, they may have a point...but it's not like $8 for a sub is hard to get unless you're homeless. Basically, being cheap to survive and being cheap to feel 'smart' are two entirely different things...but they are too self-absorbed to consider that.
fascinating how popular your simple videos are. you're not even a psychologist, and you're teaching people things and even then, entertaining to watch you make simple sandwhiches
My biggest gripe is they still call it a "spicy Italian" even though they changed their pepperoni to a non-spicy one YEARS ( and I mean many) ago. I demand a name change to just "Italian" now!
The only time subway has ever made conversation with me is owners, nearly every owner has made literal 20 min conversation with me and tbh I just stay even if I have to leave, cause they're so damn sweet
Bro idk what’s being made in this video but this has to be the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever seen. Wtf is it, I wonder if I can get this done in Australia 😩
As a family business person myself, It rubs me the wrong way when people say they are the owner, when in reality it's their parents. I'm happy to call myself manager or whatever, but the owner is the one that got the Federal Tax ID.
Parents: "So you're just going to work at Subway? PFFFT, like that will amount to anything." *Creates RU-vid channel* Milad: "I'm about to end my parent's whole career."
Not paying for something that was already modified to your preference is the same as not paying for damage that you deliberately caused to a product within a store... It can't be sold to someone else; you bought it the moment that you asked for it to be modified in anyway. Go blame YOUR boss that $8.25 seems like a lot of money to you.
