I had a “Velcro” pup for 18 years and I loved it! Come to think of it, maybe I was the real Velcro Mom🤔😂

My velcro dachshund was 19 years old when she passed away 😢. We loved her so very much ❤️ and we miss her every day.

I had a Velcro dog for 21 wonderful years. He was tossed over our fence when he was about 6 weeks old. It was love at first sight & he was never far from us. I love watching Mac as he's a lot like Oscar ❤️🐾

I have an entire crew of velcro dachshunds. Watching TV at night, there's up to three on my lap, one on my neck at the top of the chair, and one at my feet. No interruptions allowed!

Mac looks exactly the same as my Jake when he was alive. Same markings, same everything, and talk about intelligence. He had it, and we had our special moments and ways of communicating with each other. The things I thought him to do and he trained me also. There's no other love than the love with a daschund.😊😊😊😊😊😊

My little velcro mini just turned 13. In my lap currently and when I'm seated. Her name is Tipsy! She survived a malinois attack 5 years ago. She weighs 6.6 pounds. Her face and feet are gray. She loves to snuggle and give kisses. She goes everywhere I go.

I've been taking care of a mutt for the past 2 years. He followed me back to my house after a bike ride around the neighborhood, and seemed very lonely. He was super thin (visible ribs bones) and smelled bad. I took him in for the night, fed the poor guy, filled a bowl with water and prepared a makeshift bed so he could rest with some comfort. He slept at our front porch. Next day when it was 6am I checked on him and the little bastard literally jumped on my lap and started licking my face 😅 I was filled with joy and decided to adopt him. His name is Haru, which means sunshine/spring in Japanese. Since then neither of us are lonely anymore. Everyday Haru greets me with a kiss and his wagging tail. It's adorable and I am truly grateful. He looks at me just like this adorable Daschhund. They're always ready to give you plenty of love and a good time. I wish more people adopted dogs, neutered them and took proper care of them. There are way too many stray dogs out there due to negligence. They deserve our best efforts to live a decent life. Much love to this adorable doggo ❤

This is my dog to a T. He’s a pit beagle mix, been my best friend for about 8 years now. The only time he’s not glued to my hip is when he’s sun bathing, but even then he’s just gazing at me and will repeatedly check in with what I’m doing. Then he’ll get up every time I get up. Truly the best

I've had chihuahuas since i was 9. I am 72. They have all been velcro buddies. Love it. I can not imagine life without them. My two girls are so sweet. People do not know what they miss.
