Good call sending the borrowed machine through first to break trail. It is hard on equipment breaking trail through that much snow. I would have sent you first too. Awesome video.

Hahaha, It was more about not slowing down for quads at the wrong time. If I wasn't first I'm sure this would have been even more challenging.

The rate at which you're making these awesome videos is amazing, From a fellow x3 owner in Ontario. You really should crank those preload rings down. With 30'' tires they recommend 15'' ground clearance. Your type of riding you should go for like 17''-18'', might even make you 1''-2'' skinnier.

I have been watching your videos for a while now and i love my x3. I climbed up an entire mountain in the snow running assassinators. Difference between my machine and yours is mine has the windshield/windscreen. I once had a tree limb just about take my eyes out and since then i will always run a windshield on all SXSs i get. Keep the content coming and hopefully when the covid19 clears a bit ill be hosting a ride sometime here in the state of Pennsylvania

Oh my gosh what a great video. It's nothing more to say that no one else has said. It would pay CanAm to go ahead and give this X-3 XMR to you, because of what y'all are showing it can really do with no more than just upgraded tires. I'm blown away by what it's doing. Let them rubber shoes talk

That’s half the trouble with the big machines. Here in the land where nothing is allowed we can only run the 50” machines on most public trails and ditches. You made that thing work tough. Impressive to say the least. 👍

Its amazing what they fit/Make it through when you don't have a choice! Awesome machine, Love mine! Videos don't do it justice what they go through and how they compare to other sxs's. I ride with a wildcat xx and it doesn't even touch the x3... and I got videos to prove it! hahaha cheers boys

Great vid Eh Tv and I have a question for you seeing how you own a Rene. I was looking at getting the x3 Xmr. I have a 16 rene xmr. Can’t afford both so I can only pick one. Just wanting a bit of feed back what your thoughts are. My riding style is changing a bit. I do more trail then mud now. Not to much of an issue with width for me. Brandon mb the odd tight trail. But chain saw would help with that lol

Tough choice really, But as I age I'm thinking the SXS is the way to go. Full of energy even after a rip in this thing. Love my Renegade, but it takes me a couple days to recover after a hard ride. LOL

Those 72" wide SXS can be tricky to navigate in trails designed for ATV's let me tell you. I'm glad I sit at 66" makes it much easier. Crazy how good the X3 pulls eh? The boys ribbed me hard for switching to a SXS but after 1 season no one is ribbing me anymore. You just need some 33 or 35" tall tires to really make her shine!

eh TV since the Rene isn’t being used quite as much you should send the ECU out for a flash and get rid of that junk “tuner” fuel module you’ve got. It doesn’t change the timing curve just fuel pulse width. You’ve got a lot left on the table my friend, use it!! I’d imagine you could gain another 2-5hp on the top end and some torque down low with just the timing changes in the ECM. It would run better in general (not that it runs bad).

Someone commented it was pinned several times and the belt live on. Do the cvt belts not last long under load and high rpms? I would imagine they have some internal cooling to reduce heat. So long as the belt doesn’t start slipping, I would think it should last quite some time.

First real experience with a sxs, so far quite impressed with the clutching. Belt looked great after all these rides. So I assume there pretty good.

Go Pro clamp mount, LOL. really works well. And the bendable arm can be used with regular clip mount as well . Oh man, I can't begin to tell yeah how it feels behind the wheel of this monster. One hell of a review to come. Hahaha

@@ehTV1000 Before I pull the trigger and buy these how water resistant are they? Meaning if I had to stick my hand under the water to access the winch will it stay dry? I'm always leery when it says water-resistant versus waterproof.

Yes sir they will stay dry on the inside all the way up to the elbow. Bay Marine is a Canadian dealer of these products. Just ordered a second set yesterday as backup's. I have only soaked them by having water run down my arms from excessive water splash. Top notch they are, all their gear seems to to hold up and do what it's advertised to do. Nice for a change
