Thank you for doing this video, I had another air fryer that I loved, but this one does more than my last one. I came upon this one as you did. I am excited to get to use. I know I will not be disappointed!!!
I bought the exact same one but was actually scared to use it. I hate a book instruction. I am so happy that I ran across your video. You explained it far better than the booklet did. Thank you so much !!
This video was SO helpful! Just ordered this with a black friday deal and don't even have it yet, but I feel confident now on how to use it. I'm even more excited now. Thanks!
Yay! I still love mine. I use it pretty much everyday to cook something or other! I didn't think I'd use the grill plate much, but find myself using it to cook two chicken breasts all the time.
I loved your review. I was searching for videos on how to use this toaster. Then you said you were a disability advocate which I am too! I am so happy I found your channel!
Welcome! Oh I love this toaster oven! Glad you found me! We need more voices advocating for Disabled People. You should check out my other channel, www.youtube.com/@i.am.mindblind where I share about my neurodivergent diagnosis journey! 😊 Also, let me know if you have questions about this toaster oven, and I'll do my best to answer.
I told my husband what I’d like for Christmas, but he found a better price than I did on EBay for the same unit. So it arrived yesterday and rearranged some kitchen counter items. Fits in perfectly in the corner. Made our first air-fryer French fries of Yukon Gold baked potato-sized (cut up for French fries). Peeled some, left the others with the skins on. Basted a few with oil, others I left without and baked according to the chart’s directions. Wow, so good. We actually liked the fries best with the skins left on and without oil. We are Whole Food Plant-Based. So the no oil is great since m husband cannot get used to a baked potato with no butter, but really loved these French fries today at lunch. We are retired so wherever we can cut out some extra calories is a good idea, especially in the winter when getting out to take a walk is not as easy or comfortable. I have so many items I’ve bought from Cuisinart, and never been disappointed once. I even have a set of Cuisinart stainless steel pots and pans as we have an induction range, as that is healthier too than gas and love that too, but that is a Frigidaire. Don’t have to spend through the nose, as this is a very good range and is the least expensive against all the others in the same category. Going to have to try sweet potato fries and especially tofu, which I hear is amazing.
@@TheNeurospicyMama I bet I will for many, May reasons! My air fryer of another brand which I used almost daily was “recalled”! I’m glad now I will have a toaster oven/broiler etc. too! Greatly looking forward to it!
Very good video! Wish I found this video before I purchased my large toaster oven. Just me now so don’t need anything large. I refuse to use a plastic air fryer. I saw this toaster oven for sale at a store close to me and decided to look it up online and see if it’s a good toaster
Nice! Lol, I wasn't sure if my review would be watched figuring I had to be the last to jump on the band wagon. But now I'm *slightly* obsessed and am air frying all the things. Bwhaha! 😜
I got this same model from a rewards program of the nicotine pouch brand I use. (Think camel bucks) Serious life changer… I lay in bed at night planning all the things I’m going to cook with it. 😂 Broccoli has been a real winner so far. Whipping up a bunch of broccoli in less than ten minutes is just crazy.
There’s only been one video on a different toaster oven that bothered to show the plug. I need to see what type of plug it has because I purchased one that had doors. It had so many more features in this one, but the plug kept getting very very warm and then a year later it just fried.
I just bought one and really looking forward to using it especially after watching your video. Do you know if I can use the Pampered Chef Stoneware to bake chicken, hamburger?
So I just went and ran the air fryer for 10 minutes to see if the top and bottom burners turn on during air fry mode. The top ones came on and cycled on and off but in the 10 minutes I ran it while watching closely to answer this question, I did not see the bottom one turn on. Hope that answers your question! 😁 And thanks for asking.
I just bought this. One thing that i noticed is that the bottom elements dont turn on when i set it to air fryer. Is this normal? I cant get a crispy frozen pizza on air fryer mode
Do you have the same exact model? I noticed that there were some similar, but had different accessories listed. If your instructions said it came with one, I'd contact cuisinart.
Enjoyed your video. I just changed mine from a cuisinart TOB-60N to a TOA-70 Series as it was more than 8 years old and tired of cleaning it. Still worked fine. Can you suggest how to keep my new one clean ? My old one I always hand washed the parts that can be removed and wiped it clean.
How do you get the baking sheet clean? i've only used mine twice and put aluminum foil down on the sheet but it got gunky anyway and it won't come off! Is there any special cleanser to use on it?
I've used a wire scouring pad to clean mine. You could also try soaking it in some vinegar water. The dishwasher has gotten mine clean in most cases, but I have handwashed it a few times because wanting to use to before running a load of dishes.
@@TheNeurospicyMama Thank you for getting back to me! I will try what you recommend--I was afraid of damaging the coating on the pan but from your video yours looks fine. Cheers!
Question: Do you use it where its positioned at the beggining of the video? Under the cabinet? I know in the manual it says not to, but we just got one and was wondering if it stains anything or gets too hot under the wall cabinet. Thank you!
This is basically a toaster oven. You dont have to use the air fryer button. Which is basically just convection bake. Many toaster ovens also have a convection bake option. I absolutely love this appliance
Just now getting back to you because I wasn't sure! I ran it at 450 for 10 minutes this evening and the outside got warmish but I could place my entire palm on the metal without it feeling hot. There are vents on the side, so I'm assuming you need a bit of space around it for air flow, but it did not get hot to the touch.
Microphone! It has a cord, but it kept getting unplugged so it is easier to just use it this way. Sorry if it was distracting. Without it, the audio quality is not good in my space.
I'm sorry, I was trying to keep the video short. Perhaps I'll do a follow up video showing off some of the features in use! I've been using this oven almost every day one way or another!
