It's refreshing to hear other dentists telling the truth about this. Most American dentists say get them out no matter what, but that's not always a good idea.

My teeth only hurts periodically. But aren't they supposed to when they come out? My dentist wanted to remove them just because I told her that they hurt occasionally. However, they look just fine on the x-ray in my eyes.

@BeautyQueen2023X I’m not. Of course, nobody are a fan of going to the dentist to have needles stuck in your gums. My point is that it is extremely expensive (at least where I come from) to have them removed, so if it’s not necessary, why do it? I also feel like they ask you to have them removed because they get paid for it and not because need them removed.

@@PD-ws4tdits free in my country and id rather not having discomfort, so I’d rather just go straight in my fears and get them removed. 2 day of healing and im just proud of myself for gettinng through the extraction

Why remove healthy body parts? I removed mine to “prevent future problems,” and it ended up ruining my facial structure and causing lack of tongue space. I also aged by 10 years from bone loss.

I had all those wisdom teeth out 10 years ago and now some of my molar teeth gets gapped with the following tooth and makes every food I eat become stuck in between and sometimes it causes pain.

My dentist recommended me to remove it because it caused me pain and sensitivity all over the teeth for four years, they became black and cracked even parts of them had fallen out luckily yesterday I removed one of my wisdom teeth and other one I will remove after recovery 😊

Pain and swelling are also symptoms of GROWTH...baby teeth cause pain, bleeding, and swelling....but it's a part of growth. That isn't a good enough reason.

If you are only able to brush the tip you might get problems cleaning it properly

I had a full impaction surgery, a month later & I'm still swollen and in pain, had a second opinion and both told me u're fine & ur healing process is different than others. But still worried

Ok so i got my 3rd molar on one side of my lower jaw . But on the other side only ¼ of my wisdom tooth is visible from past three years . I sometimes get pain and swelling when i chew hard on that side . But this time the pain got worse and did an xray . My wisdom tooth is straight and everything is normal , but the pain has reached head , cheek and ear. My dentist told me that since I'm 18 i should wait for 2 more yrs for the wisdom tooth to show up or remove it . Wt am I to do 😢

This doctor recommended for me to get all 4 of mine removed cause the two on top have deeper cavities and the two on the bottom have lesser. But I don’t want to, I already have a week jawline and small chin. Can’t they just fix the cavities?

dont pull them, my ortho also wanted to remove en for no reason like that. If they are are not causing pain and well erupted safe them to maintain that forward dimension on face

you can remove them yourself by coconut oil pulling and limiting processed sugar

I went to the dentist like a week and a half ago and he instantly told me I needed mine removed. But it doesn't hurt or cause me problems. I think he just wants money

Yes remove when will feel the pain , but if you will have to get removed them it will not matter you remove yet or wait untill you fell the pain cause wisdom tooth will cause you pain 100 pecent after some months so you can remove yet , if I am a doctor I will also tell that you should remove

Hi pls reply. My dentist told me to remove my right wisdom teeth that hasn't been erupted because my left one already erupted and removed. So are wisdom tooth erupt in pairs, one after the other? Is there a big chance my right wisdom teeth will erupt?

@sokawai5 You should be awake, its the best way to do it. It doesnt make sense to go fully under. This is a really minor surgery

If it's coming out straight I would bare with it until u cant take it anymore, happened to me last year, my left jaw was swollen and couldn't fully open my mouth, my dentist wanted me to remove it but i refused and so they just gave me some painkillers for when it becomes unbearable.
