Personally, I started developing my pronounciation just a couple of years ago, at the age of 35, and have reached good results. I don't think that the age matters in this case, your will does. I really wanted to sound like native speaker and I got it. Nothing is finished, I'm still training. I could say the same about the environment. You create your own environment where you belong to. Maybe you haven't money to travel around the world, but you can place the world around you by means of internet. Maybe this information for someone isn't actual, but it works for me.
I am an Arabian English teacher and my students are always struggling.. because we don't have the /p/ and the strong /r/ sounds and in Arabic and we don't have connected speech we actually consider it as somthig bad to connect your words coz when your words are more clear it means your pronunciation is better. So this big difference is making it hard for learners to sound American...

thank you for reminds me that this is a never ending process. if you can tell, that I'm currently being afraid that my english skill will just disappearing from me. I feel sometimes that I lose a lot of my vocabulary bank which I already collect for many times ago. I cannot even speak or convey what's inside my thoughts in english since I'm not used to it anymore. therefore, to recovery my brain, by immediately come to you and rewatch all your video. and this is how your video works on me
I've been learning english since birth and i used to watch uk stuff on youtube( i am trying to sound more American that's why i am watching linguamarina that's the main reason ) i am bangali btw but i only speak bangla with relatives and parents rather than that i speak English with almost everyone

Marina, please take care of your aspiration. The way you pronounce the h sound gives you a heavy Russian accent. The second priority would be all first sounds in the words you‘re saying. Love watching your pronunciation progress! Way to go, girl!
Mam when I don't know what subject is in sentence . Then we use "who" and "what" for knowing I have made some "subject question" sentences 1 What has read book . 2. What has made you happy. 3 . What had lost . Please check and If any sentence is wrong . Then please explain why sentence is wrong .

The letter W comes only from the lips while the letter V comes from the tip of the upper two teeth and the inside of the lower lip in the same place where the letter F exits

It's true that as you get older, it becomes harder to work on your pronunciation because your brain gets used to hearing your native language and pronouncing the sounds from your native language. However, that doesn't mean it's impossible to get rid of your accent, even if you're 25+. It is harder, but not impossible! So, good luck to you, Marina, and everyone else who is working on their pronunciation! You'll get there!❤

Native English speaker here. US born and raised, and I think it's really cool all the different accents. Almost all of the time, native speakers will understand you just fine. Don't be ashamed of your accent. Try to speak clearly, but no reason to try super hard to cover it up all the time.
