Monkey D. Luffy's and the straw hats adventure has finally reached netflix. The one piece live action is extremely good, it felt good seeing familiar faces such as Arlong, Mihawk, Don Kreig, Shanks, Coby, and Kuro. The Live Action covered the east blue saga except for loguetown. So basically, Syrup Village Arc, Baritae, and Arlong Park. It felt good seeing the backstories of Zoro, Nami, Ussop, and Sanji again. Can’t wait to see Alabasta arc in season 2 now that crocodile is a girl.

I'm quite happy they tearjerkers in the manga and anime are still tear jerkers in the live action. Probably a bit watered down, but still tear jerkers. It's those scenes in One Piece that got me hooked, after all.

One Piece live action was amazing cause Oda was heavily involved and a cast and crew that loves and respects the source material Dragon Ball Evolution was terrible for many reasons but the main ones are that they ignored Akira Toriyama, the writer came out and admitted that he wasn't even a fan and was only chasing a paycheck and has apologized for it but me and many fans have never accepted his apology and we never will

I agree with a lot of the points made . And the show definitely isn’t a masterpiece , but it’s got the heart and soul of one piece for sure and it was definitely one of the most entertaining live action shows I’ve ever seen . The creative powers and fight scenes were also just really refreshing compared to the ever more stale fights in the MCU and DCEU were all the powers look basically the same and no one’s got a unique fighting style (except spiderman and green goblin ) . I definitely hope to see them continue the live action . Seeing places like skypia , water 7 and thriller bark in the live action would be insane ! But also insanely expensive . I just really hope moving forward that the seasons are 10 eps long . All in all you can really tell that cast , crew show runner and Oda all put their hearts into this and a lot of thought . The sets , the charm , the fun , the spirit and such all more than make up for the times the acting falls flat or it misses a beat . I look forward to seeing how the handle it in the future and how they improve

I have really enjoyed the live action so far. Its just a bit sad to see Garp looking so serious, and not the laid back vice admiral he was in the manga
