You would be right, but the food regulation in Israel is absolutely horseshit... It's way beyond food safety, they are so strict on subject that have nothing to do with food safety. For example for many consumer products and automobile products, we have Israeli regulation, that is more strict than US or EU regulation, and hence you can't import some US or EU products because according to our regulations - they aren't safe.

When it costs 1500-1700 dollars a year to put a sign on the front of your restaurant and probably other absurd fines and fees I'm not surprised it's hard to make payroll. They have to fund the occupation somehow I guess.

Charmanderaznable Because it’s true. Businesses want to maximize profits and they decide on the number of employees they want to have. That's already the largest budget item for most of them. When the government forces them to pay more per worker, they hire fewer workers to keep the total labor costs the same. Also low wage jobs isn’t intended to support a family of 3.

John Gable Smith I recently swapped from using iPhones to some crappy no name android phone that cost $100 brand new and there's nothing so far that it doesnt do that I couldn't do on my iPhone, the fact that people spend $1000 to upgrade a perfectly fine working iphone just because a new iphone drops that basically is the same as their previous models just proves how dumb people are
