Some rides allow you to bring a bag with you? Like a sling bag, regardless it's nice to bring a sling bag. You'd still have to have a locker or at least it's good idea. How about the size of the bag?
Glad they worked for you! I was there yesterday too for a bit and got quite a few rides on Jersey Devil with practically no wait. Seemed like a pretty light day in the park. A win for the end of July.
Protip: Leave your wallet in the car. Take out your ID, your bank card, and whatever cash you may need and leave the rest. Why do you need your full wallet? Less risk for Toby to lose it. Bring those things, your phone and your car keys. That's literally all you need.
One thing I do notice in all locations Apple Pay is accepted , however the lockers do not creating the need to still have a credit card in the park. Apparently when then went cashless this change was not implemented with there locker system, I assume because it’s an outside company that runs them.
There’s already news articles saying great adventure is unsafe because one kid got injured out of the millions of people that come….. (and the log flume and el toro incident where no one got injured)
No one ever was injured on El Toro the ride safety system stopped the ride as when it detected an issue (wheel bolt on the last car freed from place ) the ride stopped and guests where evacuated from the coaster. The log flume had and incident where it stated the boat turned over this didn’t happen rather the boat bounced up and hit the rail after the decent on the large hill. What is not mentioned is one of the guests in the boats attempted to stand up ( not to get wet I assume ) causing the accident. The news outlet has not helped with false information (shocking ) *** I’m not a spoken person for SF just don’t like the misinformation that people are receiving.
Last time I was at GA, the wait times on the app were quite inaccurate. Claimed that Kingda Ka was a 20-25min wait all day (it was at least 35), and it frustratingly never listed a wait for Nitro or JDC. Still nice to have but I haven't had great luck with it
They will still tell you to get a locker at pretty much any of the attractions that have security guards stationed outside (Kingda Ka, Joker, Jersey Devil, El Toro when it's open, and sometimes Nitro). I'm not saying that you can't ever get away with it, but they are usually pretty intense.
I hate that they don’t allow cash. It’s really inconvenient. I can’t track as good with a debit card. As someone who has chronic pain cashes so much easier to use. I really hate company to do this. It’s scary. It’s the start of being controlled like China or NK.
You can't use cash there either. I believe there are special cards you can buy specifically for the games, one of those "buy $20 get $25 dollars of play" kind of deals, but I'm not 100% sure. I don't do the games, so I don't pay as much attention to them. Either way, you will need to bring a cashless payment or convert cash to a card at one of the machines they have scattered around the park. They even have a machine right next to the basketball game in that area. Hope that's somewhat helpful!
When you walk over to boardwalk there are two main location when you can purchase play cards. Dare devil dive as well as in eye site view of the striker. Also any games that have a register located at the game will get you a play card.
Hi, i am planning to go visit Six Flags Mountain this month with my kids for the very first time. I wanted to know if they now allow to bring a similar device like selfie stick/monopod to take personal videos? Or does anybody in the park uses similar device? I need your help. Great video by the way. It helps me so much. Thank you for creating this type of content.
If I go on that ride in sneakers, I usually will hold my feet up on my seat or on the bars in front to avoid them getting wet. Last time I went on CR (yesterday), I went in flip flops and took them off the moment we were out of sight of the loading/unloading station XD
DONT BUY BOTTLE for $40,just take with you one empty water bottle, they have free water there, also.its not worth it to pay extra money for 10 meals, take with you some energy bars or eat in your car.
Unless they change something when they reopen, they're still $1. They also give the option to get unlimited lockers for the day where you put in your same code and can go from locker to locker around the park. I think it's $8 for that.
