I really wish they would clean up all the weeds in the El Toro and Green Lantern queue lines, and also around Golden Kingdom and actually refresh the landscaping. The park atmosphere still needs some work, but it's nice to see them slowly investing in refreshing things (there definitely is a huge backlog).
In addition to the lack of focus on park appearance and atmosphere, it's now clear that there was a lot of deferred maintenance from the late 2000s and 2010s, the bill for which is coming due now. Although they were slow to get things going this year, I think they are headed in the right direction. The good news is that once the major ride refurbishments are completed, improving the park appearance and atmosphere doesn't require a large one-time investment. It can be done incrementally, and eventually make a real difference.
My son and I were going to ride roaring rapids last weekend but he had his yezzy sneakers on and didn’t want to get them wet. Watching this I think he made a good call. 😂 This ride looks like a real water ride now and we’ll save it for really hot days.
I went there Friday after work and some of the schools stayed til closing. I left around 6:30 and still had to wait for busses to pull out, lol. It looks like it would be best to have an empty season cup when going on El Toro as it looks like it would have to be in the locker on it's side.
Well that’s also because it was a Friday and not a school night, plus the fact that it was Grad Nite. With the cup, you can just bring it to the station with you, and just place loose articles that would normally be in your pockets into the lockers
Went on Tuesday the 4th.........more busses than cars in the parking lot 🤦♂️ Also REALLY think they should have added at least one more locker bank..........

Making my first ever trip later this summer. Coming from Ohio and have Diamond passes through Darien Lake, so my admission parking is covered. Can anybody clue me in on any other pass benefits that transfer park to park?
Weird. We couldn’t get on line if we had anything in pockets (except my stickers!). The employee told us those in-line lockers are for Flash Past only….
The ops are telling you only phones, wallets, keys, and fanny packs are allowed. The person at entrance will make you buy the old lockers if they see you have a backpack. I would not recommend putting drink cups in the new lockers because you'd have to put them in sideways and the crew will disable the locker if there's a spill. You've always been able to take the cups up to the station though.
@@P3peJose if you can prove to the entrance person that you can smush your bag enough so that it fits they’ll let you in. But full sized backpacks need to go in the old lockers
Do you know the latest the park will let you enter when they close at 7pm on weekdays? I’m confident I can make it there a little before 6, but don’t want to be turned away.
did you guys ever get to ride batman when it went backwards that one day... i dont think it was at great adventure i believe it was a different six flags park.
