Some of the Modules are not available on the Foundry installation tabs, Notably, Warp Gate and Template Macro, because those are too old versions, Just thought I'd let people know!
Great video. My only challenge is I am watching it about 2-3 months after you published it and there are already changes to several tabs in Midi QOL. I still think it solves about 95% of my settings concerns. Thank you for all the hard work you put into these videos. I know these are not easy.
I love this too much. Thank you! I just switched to foundry from Roll 20 and am scrambling to catch up with all the QOL features it offers through modules. Your videos are greatly appreciated
thanks for this, I was able to fine tune and now understand more abuot this long list of settings, also, I have "ready set roll" module and looks like kind of works with midi QOL, and it lets you click advantage or disadvantage after an attack roll has been made.
Man, I wish you made this video a couple of weeks ago! Wasted dozens of hours of modules juggling without it! P.S. I wish it also was for V11... Becase some of the modules you mentioned are no longer supported in V11.
For those running V11: DF modules are not compatible and from the looks of things may never be as development seems to have stopped on them a year or more ago.
Thank you for this. You went over just about everything and explained it with out treating us who are just starting out on Foundry VTT like idiots. I am looking forward to more of your videos.
@@paulclark3909 Pocket Bard is really good but it doesn’t have Foundry integration and it’s mobile only (they are working on a desktop version). Another good option is Syrinscape but it is not free.
Suggestion/critique I would make with this video, especially if your attempting to show off something in the chat log, is to not have the chat log covered by the large overlay of yourself. You could make yourself smaller and move it to a non critical area of the canvas. I love your videos, downloaded a few more modules I wasn't aware of thanks to your video's.
I followed the entire video, and the part at the beginning where you demonstrate the cross bow bolt graphics never is duplicated on my setup. I set all the parameter's in the options but no animation occurred when I shot the crossbow. Did I miss something?
Did you install and activate all the necessary and recommended modules that you can find in the description? If you did and the issue still persists, you probably need to be a Patron of JB2A to get access to that particular asset since their free version only has some of them. If you become their Patron, you can find a link to install the full set of assets.
What is the name of that super awesome module that takes things to the next level that you mentioned in the beginning of the video? I don’t know what video to watch on your channel to learn about it.
It's called Chris' Premades which you can find here: foundryvtt.com/packages/chris-premades I meant to do a video on it but never got around to it. Sorry about that!
