Those scanners are super helpful 👍 Recently found out one of my HID ballasts is leaking AC back through the system this way because of a check engine light that only comes on when the lights do. Can't live without the scanner
My first and only car is a 2016 CLA250 4Matic Sport. Got two check-engine lights so far: one for exhaust back-pressure & one for some faulty cam vent (or something like that). MB Service took care of both
need to know, OBD plug are connect to ECU car computer, cheap OBD scan plug may burnt it , shouldn't do it yourself , you can tell the dealer or the seller need to do a check in a workshop, let them check the car, they will scan it for you, and at australia you can call racv come to your place to do a full check over, is cheap and the best is if after you bought the car within sometime ,sorry forgot how long, they will pay for fix even need the whole engine., it happen before in my workshop.
My ‘11 c300 4matic...Chinese LEDs = errors (and random ESC lights that pop up and disappear a few days later). I agree though, the physical tool is way more functional than the wireless models...👍🏼
i have a 2010 c300 benz and 4 lights just came on Abs/srs/ traction control with the airbag lol idk it looks like Christmas up in this dashboard... would be nice to have that kzyee obd2 scanner.
JR_ Collado its a sensor or a module. The abs module controls all that good stuff . Drive it around for a few days ! Should go back to Normal and also clean sensors or get new ones ..
my grandfathers 2008 w204 is backed up with errors, he just refuses to take the car into a shop to have it checked out. He likes the car because of its safety features but with all those error he's probably in danger by just sitting in the car lol
Nice Raymond Gettin' to cruse in the wife's Mini-sadies 👍 My most troublesome code vehicle is me Toyota T100 course it's a OBD1 so once again the classics lose out to the advance of technology 🤣😁🤣😁
I take it Raymond the reason why you did not scan your Mercedes is because you did not want to scare off your viewer or future buyers with all the error codes that are going to pop up on the scanner which is alotttttt problems to resolve and Mercedes should of done a recall on these vehicles! I know i owned a Mercedes. Lol
My 2011 C300 has a CEL and it is giving me faulty code about my thermostat. The temperature is completely normal. The light stays on for a few days then disappears for a little over a month. How critical is it to get a new thermostat in this case?
Guess what...I don't have any codes to share, BUT, I do have a question. I have some older cars, oldest from 1966 through 2011. At what point did they start putting the computer connections in these cars so the code could be gotten. Thanks to all.!!!
This is a great video that you would like ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rDg-yena4Ec.html Your answers is around 4min but watch the whole thing
I recently installed the led star and some blue dome lights. The computer went wack. My right running light would stay on and drain my battery, thankfully I have a jump box. I put everything back to normal and reset my computer and everything is back to normal. I'm thinking about doing your sidemarker video just for the relay for my led star. Have you had any trouble from your red led dome lights and/or do you have any suggestions?
If you want to show if a tool is powerful then try it out on camera. You could do an error code scan and show how error codes are explained and get into more details about the thing. It makes the video much more interacting that way. In a 11 min video you could show a lot of stuff that the thing does not just talk about it coz it makes it way less interesting. Anyways that's just my opinion
