Actually, Masahiro Sakurai the creator of the Super Smash Brothers series loved the User Interface of Persona 5 so much that it was the main reason that Joker was added to Super Smash Brothers Ultimate as the first of the DLC. And you genuinely feel sympathy towards Maruki because of his past.

I wouldn’t say tht persona has been exclusive to playstation is just tht most of Japanese developers are associated with playstation because playstation has been around longer then xbox all the iconic franchises started at playstation nintendo n playstation will always be the best to play jrpgs

It's odd because in the past Atlus was open to having Persona spin-off games on other platforms but not the core games themselves. Which lead to Persona 4 Arena being on Xbox 360 even though Persona 4 wasn't, and Persona 5 Strikers being on Switch and PC even though Persona 5 wasn't, which isn't the case anymore. Either way I'm glad they're coming to other platforms so they get as much exposure as possible

Man, you're good. I have no clue why you don't have more subscribers. Been trying a bunch of videos to decide whether or not to grab this game after FE3H and XC3 upended my life. Everyone else's videos were either too short and nothing but fluff in terms of content, or too long and unfocused. Your video is excellent, and has convinced me to finally give it a shot. My first Persona game was Persona 4 Golden on Steam and i became a fan immediately, i really wanted to play Persona 5 Royal too, but i only got my pc I was super happy when i heard that P5R will release on pc, so far i've done 2 playthroughs and i play on doing at least one more soon. Right now i'm playing Persona 5 Strikers the P5 spin off/sequel. Can't say enough good things about P5R,P4G, Strikers, phenomenal games I love the story ,characters ,ost ,gameplay in P5R and P4G and i really want to play Persona 3 when it releases in January on pc

I could see it being released initially on PlayStation platforms and then being ported to the wider market after a year or two. Similar to how Sony is handling their PC releases at the moment

Greatl video hope to see more of your work soon. If you liked royal I really recommend the other persona games too, Persona 4 is a bit closer to 5 than 3 and it's a bit easier too so I recommend that one next. Persona 3 is amazing but I personally prefer Persona 3 fes to portable, so if you can try and play persona 3 fes on a ps2 or ps3 or emulator. If you really can't do any of those then I would just wait for persona 3 portable re-release.

My god I love this game so much. I'm hoping to play and watch and read every piece of Persona 5 media out there, currently working on the manga and Strikers. I listen to the ost all the time and my favourite song has got to be Life Will Change. Basically the only reason I still play Smash Bros is because I can fight with Joker, it's almost as if I'm playing Persona 5 Arena early.

@@Danny-px4oi Ah yeah I can see what you mean. I think it'll probably be down to the in-game anime cutscenes being done by a different studio with access to a higher budget and a more lenient deadline. I wouldn't say the anime is bad but there is a noticeable change in quality in my opinion

@@thevulture3776 Yes the animation for the game and the anime series were handled by different animation studios Like i said the only good thing was the OVA for valentains day cuz you get more appropiate and romantic date with each girls ( at least in my opinion XD ) And also they even added an extra date for a female character that was supposed to be a love interest in the game...( even some modders found recorded dialogue for set gitl during her date) but was cut maybe due to story changes or time.

I've almost lost track of how many time I bought Persona 5/Royal just to experience it across a spectrum of systems. P5 Classic on PS3 & PS4 (with all the DLC) physically, P5R on PS4 as Steelbook and (when was impatient for steelbook to arrive) Digital Deluxe, Steam via Fanatical discount (saved $12 AUD off retail), Switch digitally (was basically half-price as used the 30% off Black Friday deal and like $20 AUD of Ninty Coins to bring the price from $99.95 AUD to about $49.50 AUD), and through Gamepass Ultimate For Win10/11 & XB1S... Oh, and dumped the Switch version via my CFW'd OG Switch (I'm protected under ACL to use my original hardware to make a personal backup copy of my original software, and use the copy in-lieu of the original software media. Ninty can go pound sand about "Piracy"!) so I can run in Ryujinx or Yuzu on PC for if/when I eventually manage to get my hands on a SteamDeck here in Australia. I still remember getting my PS4 copy in the mail from OzGameShop in the UK, popping the disc in my PS4 Launch at Noon on Tuesday, and then proceeding to play before figuring should take a long food and drink break at 6pm... the following Wednesday, 30 hours later...

Easily in my top ten games of all time. And....the only reason I will buy a USED PS5 in a couple of years If Persona 6 starts as a crappy PS5 exclusive.....I am done giving Sony money for hardware. Software, whatever, I don't get into many Sony IPs, but hopefully Sega/Atlus start Persona 6 off as a multiplat game. If not....that is the only reason I'll buy a pre owned PS5. Not a GOW fan. Not an Uncharted fan. I'm not a Rachet and Clank fan. Or any other first party IP Sony has.

As far as I've seen, every game is considered canon between Persona 3 and 5. A lot of them go for the whole "they won't remember a thing" trope to ensure that the events of the spin-offs don't necessarily contradict the main story told in the core games. An Atlus representative even stated that the original Persona Q was canon, personally I think it's safe to assume that all of the other spin-offs are canon
