Resirt World is a favorite. I only stayed there once but the rooms are so comfortable, quiet. the casino chairs are so comfortable they allow hours of sitting. I also love that is across the street from Peppermill.

Great video, thank you. I know Resorts World's location may not be ideal to many, but I love that it is across the street from Peppermill which has an awesome daily Happy Hour. Although I haven't stayed there, I noticed a lack of vibe too...but that could change.

Thanks for the very informative video. My neighbors stayed at the Conrad earlier this month (June 2024) and raved about the placed. They said they would go back there in a heartbeat. I enjoyed my stay on the Conrad side even in the base room! It was much more spacious- and they did not even charge an early check in fee over Memorial weekend.

Love the video. We have thought about doing it for a few years, but the location has always stopped us. Everything we do is closer to Caesars/Bellagio area but maybe next time we will finally give in and give this place a try.

Great video Jordan. When it comes to the per night early check in fee, it seems to be a common practice among the various brands in the Hilton portfolio as I was charged a similar fee when I stayed for two nights at the Hampton Inn near San Jose Airport when I checked in early. Now when it comes to the rooms, they look fantastic. Overall, Resorts World is an awesome property.

I loved the Stardust resort. I remember (1980's) when the north end of the strip was buzzing. Stardust, Riviera, Frontier, Sahara, Desert Inn. Silver City had 25 cent craps. Hoping to see more development at the north end.

I stayed at the Hilton in Resorts World and it did not disappoint. Very comfortable room and the complex is amazing. I keep hearing about issues with the staff but I did not have any problems, everyone was very helpful. I will be going back to this place.

It’s a great property, stayed there a few times, great restaurants, so-so shopping, the casino is super nice with a good layout, and the dealers are super helpful and friendly. Zouk is amazing! Sucks they recently started charging for parking, unless your tiered up.

Resorts world has honesty grown on me. I didn't like it at first but have gone a few times since then and have started to like it. It doesn't hurt that it has one of my favorite lounges on the strip with Alle on 66. fantastic views and really chill vibes. I do also really like the food options at the resort. on a side note if you w ant affordable and good sushi there is a really good place downtown across the street from El Cortez that I really love. I have been several times and always had a great experience. I just can't remember the name at the moment.

Stayed at all 3 in Resorts world. By far, i think the Conrad suites restroom are more superior than Crockfords suites because they have the rain shower heads which is placed on the ceiling above your head. Great thing about Crockfords is that they provide breakfast and coffee/tea in the lobby. Great video Jordan. You gotta try the Lady M cakes in the district.

Im with you on RW, I think its an awesome property! Love the casino floor, nice rooms and restaurants. Plus some awesome bars/lounges! I think it gets a ton of unwarranted hate for some reason. All around really cool property in my opinion.

I really like RW and agree with the value attached to the offers. With the opening of FBleau AND the easy Uber option to get you downtown, the location is less concerning. The vibe does include alot of convention goers. Also, I was a little concerned with how well the world’s oldest profession was represented there and would like to see a little more of a security presence. Cheers!

it's a nice facility - I just find it VERY dull w/ zero vibe... It's like Cosmo but without any of the fun or cool people. And out on the north end with nothing local around it.

Stayed twice at RW. 1st time $99 2nd anniversary deal. 2nd time was only because they comped us 2 nights free. We stayed there just to sleep. Spent our time elsewhere on the strip. Fine dining is okay. But two-thirds of Famous Street Eats was closed. Other dining options...very limited. Hilton app for checking in was great! The room was very nice. Do not like the community toiletries. The vibe of RW is deserted... Casino dead most of the time. No more free parking with the rewards card. The new Elite card took care of that. If you are staying at the north end stay at Fountaine Bleau. Everything at FB was fabulous! And...5 minute walk to monorail to take you anywhere on the strip!

How do you like the Pocket 3? I tried it, but decided to return it and stick with my Sony full frame camera, but sometimes it’s nice having a camera that’s quick and easy to use. Very inconspicuous too. Might by one again.

The Crockfords is our go to. The rooms are elegant and extremely clean. I don’t mind paying the premium for excellent service and cleanliness. I’ll be staying a week again on the 20th. Got to love Resorts World.

As Hilton Diamonds we have recieved rooms on each of our visits around 10:30 to 11 with no fee. Will be visiting again soon. If anyone has tier match info for RW please share. It will be July and August for our visits. My last visit i saw video poker had 9/6 at the DawgHouse bar and on the casino floor it was 8/5 I like the music while on the casino floor. Con... the mall is Sad. Signs for Rideshare were hard to find a year ago. Our last visit it seemed better with signs.

I realize it has good restaurants but I agree it has zero vibe. It tries too hard to appeal to everyone that it has no soul. I really need a reason to justify its location, there’s nothing there that is really compelling me to fly down and just be there. It’s ALWAYS dead when I’m there. Nothing really exciting. I don’t want to spend my time in Vegas just going to different restaurants.

You want to know an underrated property? Fountainbleu. We had the best time there. Food court was high end. Casino was large, not too large that you can’t find your games. Beautifully designed, but most of all there were people all over. Energy. And all kinds of people.

Excellent content as always! I have some remarks: I believe that something might be wrong with your camera's image stabilization and/or auto focus triggered sometimes (but not always) by horizontal acceleration of your camera, as if the camera has difficulty adjusting to the acceleration and frame generation. It started a few videos ago but appear to be getting more serious. For instance in some parts of this video you barely move and the video gets tons of motion blur and/or goes out of focus with a single horizontal acceleration yet in some other parts of the video you are freely moving (tons of horizontal and vertical shakes) and get perfect image quality. The existence of freeze frames may also validate my concern about your camera's frame generation. Have you dropped the camera a couple of videos ago by any chance? If not, a factory reset might solve a potential software problem! :)

Interesting. Could you point me to a couple specific examples? As with most travel content on RU-vid, every video of ours contains a mash-up of scenes filmed with different devices. Sometimes all we have on us is a good old fashioned iPhone and we have to make it work. My iPhone was unfortunately defaulting to 24 fps which I hate, and I only recently realized I could change the default setting. The majority of the shots are filmed with a DJI Osmo Pocket 3, which is an auto gimbal. I'm interested to see if I can trace the questionable footage to a specific camera. Thanks for watching!

great review, but I beg to differ. the Wynn/Encore is the most profitable resort in Vegas and it just a few blocks from resort worlds. foot crowds doesn't really add up to money making ask Belliago with the conservatory.

Bellagio makes a boatload of money. The foot traffic is only part of it, but it certainly helps. The difference here is that RW is not a high-end luxury property like those other two. Mid-priced hotels need foot traffic because they’re not crawling with high rollers.

You mentioned being charged a daily early checking fee of 30$ but I also noticed that they gave you a strip view room which is often not included with comp offers. I'm wondering if perhaps they didn't have basic rooms available, and upgraded you to an available strip view room for 30$ a day which included a free early check in?

That's a good point. Turns out it was an upgrade, but the front desk agent didn't say anything about it being a better room, she just said an "early check in fee" of $30 would apply. I would have felt better about it if she'd mentioned that I was getting a strip view instead of the city view that was on my reservation!

Going back to when Genting was building RW, everything & everybody was geared to Asian populations. Covid put a major damper on that I guess - and "Americanizing" the property is ever more evident. Being honest, as they weren't after my business b4 I'll not go out of my way to patronize them now. And I'm aware that neither of us will suffer because of my opinion. Interesting vlog though. Interesting. I've been wanting to get comp'd at Resorts world for the last year and haven't received any comps. I played there in February and April of this year and haven't received a thing. On the other hand I get comp'd at Boyd/Palace and Caesars properties fairly well. But RW is a bust. PS. I put a good amount of money through the slots and table games...as much as I do at other casinos.

@@ShowMeVegas I watch jackpot gents channel and they play a good amount of video poker at RW. I just saw that they got fully comp'd rooms and like $2k of free play. Which previously they were not getting that much in comps. And video poker takes more play to get comp'd than regular slots. So I've been hearing a good amount of people getting better comps at RW, but I have yet to see any of that. I'll be back in Vegas next week, so I'll play there and see if it gets any better.

Mulberry Street Pizza is overpriced. Do NOT get the Sicilian slice, 99% dough. StreetBird chicken has the BEST chicken sandwich in the world! Slots are very tight at RW. Still awaiting my offers😊

I like Resorts world but it has one major draw back and that's it's location/lack of connectivity with other hotels on the strip. For me it needs a monorail connecting it with Wynn or The Fashion Show mall then foot traffic would increase a lot.

30$ a day early check in fee is absurd, and with resorts pushing check in time closer and closer to 4pm and check out time closer to 10am they have found a new way to rip people off. Best suggestion is find a good credit card loyalty program like Amex Hilton of Amex FHR and you don't have pay that…

Considering how high the occupancy rates in Vegas are, I don’t have a problem with the fee in general because after all they do have to turn over probably close to 1,000 rooms a day. But why on earth they would express the fee in terms of “per day” I have no idea. Thanks for watching!

I disagree with this review not because I think anything you said is wrong, but because bad location + subdued (aka bad) vibe = deal breaker. Might as well stay somewhere on the strip you *want* to be instead of the expense and inconvenience of taking rideshare to get around and/or accumulating comps for a property you don't actually want to be at. I also cannot stress enough how dead Resorts World is during the day much of the time. It's like being in an oversized, semi deserted shopping mall. One of the best parts of being on the Vegas Strip is the energy and excitement, and Resorts World just doesn't have much of that.

Time out. Wynn/Encore is right across the street! I disagree with walkability unless someone has limitations. Sahara is an easy walk. The Strat is also within reach. My current favorite is Fontainebleau so enjoying both RW and FB together is awesome. Thanks for your review.

Your point is well taken. Encore is close, Wynn and Fashion Show Mall are close-ish, but anything south of there is a pretty long haul. The location gripe was more centered around the fact that the neighborhood is sketchy and it’s not a “reasonable” walk to the middle of the strip. We’ve said the same about Luxor and Mandalay Bay.
