oh is this how they do skateboard magazine pictures? i always thought they editing different exposures together.. i guess they do it in camera?

yes indeed, this is one way to do that! You just need to do it in a relatively dark setting, probably at night, so that the ambient light doesn't interfere.

I have a silly question - if the frequency is much lower I assume that one flash every 2 seconds would be 0.5 Hz?

& i have a Q is that possible long exposure.(2 time fire the flash @ first &@ last) about 5sec duration 🙏

I believe they were mentioned, no? In a situation like this, I'd think 1st about the aperture, then build everything around that. For flash shots like this (in the studio), you supply all the light, so the ISO is down low and the shutter is at max sync speed. The rest is just adjusting the lighting to suit the shot/scene, etc. Try it out! 👍
